Pruski's Meat Market

This is a nice market in the country that appears to be an unassuming gas station/convenience store as you drive by. We headed right for the meat counter and picked up some thick cut pork chops, wedding sausage, and Kosciusko (sp?) sausage. It was all great. We also picked up some dips they make and enjoyed those as well.

Yes, it's a gas station but they have a large selection meats to choose from and fresh packaged specialty meats and sides. They have homemade blueberry muffins to die for!

Great selection, reasonable prices, friendly service! They are open Sunday and have a surprisingly large selection of products.

Love stopping in here for my meat purchases! I get way more meat for my money than I do going to Walmart or H‑E‑B. The size of the steaks are amazing. The friendliness of the staff has always been top-notch. I tend to spend about $150 every six weeks and it actually lasts me that long!

Very nice people here. Excellent customer service. Great selection of fresh meats. They also sell chips, snacks, eggs, foil, avocado, cilantro, onion, A1 sauce, bbq sauce, desserts, beer, and much more. I've driven by here so many times and thought it was a typical gas station corner store but it is so much more.

Their Jalapeño Pinwheel steaks and jalapeño sausages are our family's favorite.Very nice place to buy special meat.

Donnie was exceptional with helping/packaging our meat while in the store. He was so helpful with explaining the types of meats. He the type of employee that goes above and beyond to help customers. I have not experienced Donnie helping us amd did today. The other two employees were so helpful also. Today was our first experience at Pruski's Meat Market. It was a busy time, but everyone was courteous and helpful. I was especially surprised that the young man behind the meat counter remembered what we asked for when we first went there because he was busy on another order and told us it would be 15 minutes. When it was our turn, he already had the order ready to go!!! The cashier was so pleasant. We left the store with a wonderful start to our Saturday because of the staff. The store was clean and everything was laid out neatly with readable names of the items and prices. After running some errands we arrived home and my teen son immediately wanted to try some of the cooked ribs we had purchased. He told me he would definitely want us to get more in the future after eating them. We look forward to our next visit.

What a rare gem. Great selection of prime cuts of beef and a nice lunch memo of pizza, sandwiches along with great smoked sausage, dried sausage and jerky. Throw in outstanding service with a genuine appreciation for your business. I'll be a regular.
