A very nice country like feel. Great selection of meats, sauces, condiments, Saw it in our way out of town so made it a stop on our way back into town. There for the bbq. Order in the back, pay up front, when buzzer goes off, pick up the food at the counter. Food orders came out pretty quickly, but the steak took longer to cook. The sausages were good, the ribs were a bit tough, the brisket was dry. The steak was quality meat, cooked the way we ordered, medium rare, but salty. Potatoe was good, but the green beans quite salty. The flavor of all the meat was nice though. Plastic utensils were available. Made cutting the steak quite challenging and fork tips bent because it was hot.The prices are reasonable.Plenty of parking and restroom was clean.5 stars for the experience, 3 stars for the food.

I was headed to see historical Goliad with about 38 folks in a Meetup group. Our organizer stopped for lunch here. I wasn't crazy about going here because it's a mostly meat restaurant and store. But I didn't have a choice. There were too many heads of hunted animals as decor but obviously, the diners don't mind. Luckily, they have vegetarian sides. I opted for potato salad and Cole slaw. The potato salad could have had more mustard. The Cole slaw was shredded too fine. I got an iced tea and mixed sweet and unsweet. Their tea is too watered down and not the best. They lack fresh lemon slices. Instead, they have lemon packs. But not to fret. Having such a sweet tooth, I picked a chocolate eruption cake slice to go. It was delicious. Prasek's has all types of bagged snacks to go. Their bathrooms have a Cowboy theme. Check out their sinks. There is beautiful wooden patio furniture for sale, lots of Yeti products, some clothing items, and much more.

We were on our way to South Padre with the kids and wanted a place to stop to grab a quick bite and we couldn't refuse a place like this. It has a great country store as well as food options. We tried a poppy seed bun, sausage kolache, and bbq sandwich. The sandwich hit the spot- chopped brisket was a little fatty and dry. The poppy seed roll was amazing and we enjoyed the smokiness of the kolache. The dining area was in the middle of the whole operation so you could get a good view of what all there was to offer. They also have a huge fish tank which is fun for kids! What was cool is that you order all your food and then pay at the front so you can mix and match but just pay one time - it's a cool system! Everyone there was very helpful and nice. Check this place out! They are top notch.

Omg these things are dynamite!! Its a must have if you come to southeast Texas! Its a soft buisquit stuffed with breakfast food.

I love this place but today was a serious dud. Started loading up a basket with some of my favorite sausages when I noticed there was a humongous long line that wasn't moving very fast. I put all my selections back and left. They need to visit a Costco and see how they keep the line moving. They managed to open a few more registers but nobody was directing traffic.

Clean, well-stocked and good service. Delicious chopped brisket. Please consider making coffee an option. Efforts to make the dining area welcoming are appreciated, but it still felt like we were eating in the middle of a store. A bit pricey but altogether good stop "on the road."

Seriously some of the worst customer service I've ever seen. Pretty bad when a worker decides to straight up ignore you. Not to mention all the flies on their pastries.

Well they did it again! Freshest kolaches and best beef jerky I've ever found in my many travels. Service is always great, super clean restrooms. Beats Buc-ees hands down in my book.

After another job in the coastal bend, I needed sustenance. I typically grab a brisket sandwich or bbq plate here, but I'm trying to eat healthier, and that's really hard to do on the go. Big H to the rescue! The girl at the grill counter was super nice, and had the kitchen make me a smoked turkey lettuce wrap (instead of a sandwich). Best wrap I've ever had, for sure. It was absolutely delicious. It was still hard to walk past the bakery on the way out, but I did it. Thanks Praseks for taking care of me again!

Delicious! I had the Cajun chicken pasta and my husband had soup of the day! The food was great! The staff was friendly and the store was clean!
