We were in Rockport looking for food at 6:30 on a Sunday in February so very little was open. We tried Popeyes bc their fried chicken is very good. This place was a mess. They need a new manager. The people before us ordered meals and paid only to find out they had no ice and no Diet Coke. They couldn't drink regular and we can't either so they paid for drinks that weren't available. Staff should warn you before you pay. Then we ordered but when we asked for one cup for water there was a charge for the cup! Then our chicken came and they had no napkins! Who eats fried chicken without napkins?? The place was dirty with floor, tables and benches littered with bits of food. There was plenty of staff hanging out in the kitchen but no one to sweep or wipe down after customers! Yikes!

Popeyes Rockport Sunday 1230 pm on a holiday weekend . Very busy place today , clean , friendly and had the new chicken sandwich ! We got it spicy with the red beans and rice . Excellent . Don't get me wrong I love Chick-fil-A but this sandwich is just as good. No need to drive 30 miles today .

Well , honestly 1 star is generous. However someEmployees do deserve a good and honest chance . I once again decided that I would give my local Popeyes ANOTHER chance instead of driving the 30 mile round trip to the closest location that always gets my order correct . As usual I get to the window , prompt to take my money , and here goes the same old routine. Mam ,Would you mind having only half of the order you ordered and have it substituted for something you don't want :/ ? This is normal at this location!!!!!! By the way , I said NO I don't mind waiting for what I ordered The manager gets upset at the poor employee that is relaying my feedback . She responds well then she is going to have to wait . The employee responded and said the customer just wants what she orders . So once again I pull my vehicle around the building , I honestly think my tire tracks are embedded in the concrete by now . I waited patiently, enjoyed the fresh air for 20 minutes. And here comes my order I asked the lady is this correct what your handing me . I really don't want to go home once again and realize my order is WRONG!! She insisted it's correct . So off I go home . And to my disappointment I had the wrong order again . I called the store and asked to speak with the manager . I was told he was to bust to talk to me and I would have to wait . Wow !!!! Finally had a chance to speak to Joe and he was not very nice to me when I arrived to the store . Honestly if you want Popeyes it's worth driving to aransas pass

I think everyone who wrote about a bad experience should go back and try again! WHY? The new manager is going way out of her way to please her customers. Yes, I do agree that buying precooked food instead of cooking it your self can be an iffy situation. If you have ever owned your own business as I have, dealing with employee's who don't feel the same way you do about their job is hard. If you can keep calm and express your concerns to the manager of any restaurant about how you were treated, I'm sure you will get a good response. Getting good help these days is not just in the food industry. All companies have a hard time getting conscientious employee's that don't just work but actually care about their job. Just do as I suggested and tell the manager your concerns. A phone call can work as well.

Not sure what happened but I don't feel comfortable eating at an establishment with a manager (I think her name was Sara) was running around throwing stuff and cussing at her phone instead of being a real manager in her position. Not a place she should be working if she acts like that. Very childish. Would not recommend eating here if someone like that is running the place.

So disappointed! Went through the drive thru and was asked what kind of dipping sauce for my popcorn chicken. I asked for both the red sauce and tartar. Twice in a row now that this has happened... and I don't go often... I got home and no sauce at all! It's not worth driving the 10 miles back to get dipping sauce! To top that off the girl working at the window didn't have 2 seconds to greet me bc she was too busy talking to another employee about personal issues. She wouldn't know what I looked like if I went back to get my dipping sauce! So upset even though it's only dipping sauce. This is twice now ... maybe they shouldn't ask what you want if they aren't going to give it to you anyway! I tried to call the restaurant twice and the phone appeared to not be working! I won't be returning ever! I gave a one star rating bc there is no option to choose a zero!

Feel bad cause the lady on the register was nice just didn't seem to be getting trained by the other staff and when asking questions the staff would ignore her. The pain I have with this location is that blonde lady who vapes in the back next to the chicken and when asked to make a strawberry lemonade they forgot for 30 minutes then decided to pump way to much strawberry out of frustration. She's got like this high and mighty attitude it's funny.

This has always been my favorite Popeyes location. Have not been here in about a year. I usually get the 3 blackened tenders. I got them today. Two were just meh...the last one I had to spit out. It was like chewing a block of rubber. I won't be giving my business to this location any more. One star is being generous.

Great staff! Engaged children and assisted with ordering of meals. It looked like they were prepared for evening rush and so meal didn't take long.
