Stopped in this Ash Wednesday to try your flounder fillet sandwich. 2 cars in front placed order 2 classic flounder fish combos. Was told it would be 8 minutes for the fish. Was ok with this paid and asked to pull forward. 11 minutes later a runner came out with order told us to have a blessed day. Found a parking spot and started to eat dinner. Sandwichs were very spicy. Went to get a sip of my tea no straw. Looked for napkins to wipe my face none. Ok went for the ketchup for my fries none. Wife got on the phone no answer tried again no answer. Dining room was not busy drive thru a couple of cars while we were there eating. Drove home tried calling again still no answer. When I go out for food I pay for the whole experience not a half ass one . Never asked for spicy and got it anyway.

We went here to try this new to us place. The person taking the order was a rude b-tch. Rude at the speaker. Sent us to the window. Saying she could not hear me even at the window, with my foghorn voice. Rolling her eyes at us when we were ordering. We left. Forget this place. Trash employees with bad attitudes. We went to Whataburger, where decent polite people work.

$47 for inconsistent quality. Some pieces of chicken were dry, some were overly greasy and a couple pieces tasted like fish. We already waited 15 minutes to have spicy and it should have been fresh at that point too. My husband couldn't finish eating his pieces because of the bad quality. Now he's going to have a bowl of cereal. Thanks Popeyes. (Updated review - December 2024)

Wish I could give this certain Popeyes a 0 star review. The customer service is terrible. Trying to order they talk over you and don't even get the order right. I ordered a large sweet tea, and they gave me a large Dr Pepper, absolutely horrible Popeyes to eat at. This restaurant needs new management ASAP.

The one thing that separates Popeyes from other quick food, or fast food, style restaurants is what they actually think of their customers. I can tell you, they not only have forgotten how they got to where they are, but they actually hate you. From the careless employees at the restaurant level, straight up to corporate, they could care less. I understand this better than mist, as I was a District Manager (DM/DS) for a Burger King franchise. One of the most important things to me beyond the customer experience, was follow-up, in the event a customer had a less than desirable experience in one of my restaurants. Recently, I had one of several bad experiences with Popeyes as a consumer. I'd brought the Corpus Christie Texas experience to the attention of the Corporate office. I also explained how horrific it was that I'd witnessed an unethical and likely illegal (food prep) incident in one of their stores. In this instance a guy had ordered a sandwich, which was supposedly to contain bacon & cheese. Upon inspiration, he found the sandwich contained neither. He proceeds to the counter to complain. The crew, looking annoyed that he'd bothered them, handed the man melted bacon and cheese, on a sandwich wrapper, over the counter and told him to go put this on his sandwich. Imagine this? They would not take the sandwich back and make him a fresh one, instead they basically gave him the middle finger and giggled like a school girl, as he walked away. Of course, my experience was equally as disturbing. After the collective of these incidents, I wrote to their supposed "customer relations" email. I explained in detail what'd happened to us, as well as what I'd witnessed. I received a response in just over a week, whereas they required that I produce the actual receipt. My report apparently not good enough, despite it containing the tike, date and amount of the transaction. I did however, manage to locate tge receipt and attached it to my follow-up email. Another week goes by and I receive a 'boilerplate " response, apologies for my experience. They really could have been more insincere. In this email, they asked if I'd accept a $10.00 coupon as a consolation. Frankly, I'd made up my mind that this was my last experience ever with Popeys, as I've had many other complaints over the past few years, about their customer service as well as store and restroom cleanliness. The overall atmosphere, regardless of which state, which store, which franchise you'll visit, poor service has permeated throughout this company. I did however, intending to only go back if my visit was free, receive a $10.00 credit of some sort in the app, with a huge caveat. I woukd have to purchase something in order for this alleged apologetic coupon or credit, to be valid. I was unaware until I attempted to use this "promotion" on an in-app order. The order came to $9.96. I tried to check out, however, I was unable to. I wrote back to this clown, "Jennifer" at their Corpirate guest relations office. Several days later, she responds that she's transferred my complaint to another person or team? Another week goes by and I receive an email, informing me that this "promotional " 10.00, does not stand on its own. It actually has no value, unless I agree to add more to my purchase. This defeats the entire reward or conciliatory offer. The entire process you'd think would be to win back your guest. Obviously, I do not want to spend any money with them ever again, unless and until they can prove that they're changing their culture of poor service and laziness. Basically, it's tantamount to a BOGO. Moreover, at tax time, "promotional gifts" are weite-offs, where refunds are not. It is always better, to replace the food or make a refund. It boils down to both greed and insincerity. Coast to coast, this company has proven its disdain for customers and their complaints. As with others, it is high time to get on board with a nationwide call for a boycott. When a corporation is infested to the very top, such as it is with Popeyes, together with such allowances and policies, we must remind them who is the boss. There are many viable alternative venues, such as KFC, Church's. Truly 'penny smart, pound stupid." If I were the CEO and cared about such instances and was not able to rely upon my downloads, VP's and Division heads to change this aborant culture which has gripped my company, I'd turn over the entire executive staff. I would not want inconsistencies throughout my restaurants, corporate or franchise. If you're a wise consumer, you'll already know how many franchises have been taken back by McDonald's, Subway and even Burger King, to their corporate entities. The only way to force a solution is to take away the money, because honestly, they do not deserve the money either you or I work so hard for.

Every time during the lunch hour this store NEVER has spicy chicken! They know that there will be a lunch rush, so why don't they prepare for the rush? Then you are lucky if your order is correct as every time I go the order is wrong and there is no spicy chicken. Very sad.

Too bad I can't post my pic of the vile, nasty meal I received. And Popeyes will take NO RESPONSIBILITY for it, because I ordered through DoorDash instead of their app or website. I guess they don't understand that DoorDash DIDN'T COOK THE FOOD !!!! Stay away from this franchise.

Terrible service and management. Gave us 11 pieces on a 12 piece. Forgot to give us our biscuits. Called to ask and person who answered was rude, said she was the manager and she hung up.

Horrible service! Placed my order through the app. Waited 45 minutes for a 12 piece dinner. All other drive ups and drive in customers received their orders immediately. One employee was out visiting his "friend" for 20Minutes while I waited outside to get my order. Walked into the store, waited for eye contact from the gal at the window and she said, "oh, I forgot your order"! Really??? I was freaking parked in front of them and they "forgot"? Perhaps it was because my skin isn't the sameas theirs because all the other customers had brown skin and I was the only white person around. Pisses me off that this place is so racist!!! Yes, you read that right! Steer clearof this place unless your brown skinned and reference women as "momma"!!! First, I'm NOT your momma and if I were, I'd slap that damned smirk off your face in nothing flat!!! Y'all bleed red just like I do!!! Get over the race card and learn how to work and do your job well and by all means, treat people with respect! You never know who might drive up to the window... the owner of the franchise or even the owner of Popeyes and you treat that person the way you did me... you'd be fired in the spot. Oh... and you screwed up my order. A 12 piece is 12, not 14 and a small red beans and rice is small, not large and I didn't get my coleslaw!
