Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen

We came here because it was convenient to our hotel. The food was good and the service was all right. It's on par with other fast food restaurants. I haven't had Popeyes in years so my expectations were low and I knew I'd be taking it to-go. They were quite busy in their drive thru so it took a while to get our food. The chicken was crispy and the sides were as expected.

Poor service Frustrating experience long wait times and incorrect itemsDespite giving them multiple chances it's the same story every time. The staff appears disorganized and uninterested in providing good customer service. It's a shame because it's a great location but I can no longer justify coming hereSave your time and money and choose a place where you'll be valued as a customer .

SLOW AS HELL......The tenders are cold they forget to add items you order, forget to give you yours drinks.

Love that chicken from Popeye's! This is Cardi B's jam. This chicken place is the last place you can get drive-thru before you hop on the ferry, which is a great place to eat some fried chicken. This place is pretty optimally placed for maximum yum. I always wonder about that little balcony over the drive thru lane. What's that for? Mardi Gras?The chicken came in a mix - 2 parts normal, 2 parts spicy, with some red beans and rice and fries, with two biscuits. The honey wasn't quite 'honey' but a 'honey flavored sauce' made with high fructose corn syrup. The chicken had some spice to it, and it was rather delicious. The biscuits were thoroughly enjoyed by the dogs.

I've been eating at the Aransas location for years, this evening is the worst experience, 12 Spicy piece chicken dinner, not at all spicy, dry and over cooked, took my money no change given, no receipt either which I'd my own fault for not going back. Last time I eat there until they hire staff that can do the job correctly....

- Pick spicy - pick mash potatoes !! - the best; better than all the rest, perfect with biscuit and Popeyes honey!!

We waited for 5 minutes after paying and still got cold chicken and fries. Chicken pieces are much smaller that Chicken Express, one piece was about half fried chicken skin. They also make the common mistake of placing hot and cold food together in the same bag.

On 2 seperate occasions, I used the app to order with a 45 minute lead time. On both occasions, the staff didn't start preparing my order until I arrived. I'll be taking my business to Church's fried chicken just down the road.

Found a piece of plastic in my chicken sandwich, also wings had no sauce on them the guys who made them just threw the boxes in the bag everything was spilt when I took it out

Wish i could rate it a zero. They forgot most of my food . They didn't clean the poop out of the shrimp.The food was cold . They even forgot our dipping sauce that we specifically asked for . We got plain wings when we asked for ghost pepper. The vibe hurt my soul so bad that even my ancestors felt it. The biscuits were dryer than the Sahara desert . At least they gave us a utensil for our COLD macaroni.
