Great food brisket is very tender and has great taste, the sausage is great too the buttered potatoes are loaded with flavor and the tea is excellent. Great customer service very nice staff.

I go here for the ribs! Always add one more for $2! These ribs are fall off the bone good! The bark is nice with a nice spice and a sweet tang to it! Worth the trip! Bbq sauce is on point also!

We drove to Nada this morning for a visit and around lunch we just happened to see Pitt Viper BBQ on our Google Maps. We ordered a pound of everything and NOTHING DISAPPOINTED! The food was amazing! The meat on the ribs was falling off the bone, the chicken rub was so good, everything was cooked perfectly and the taste was delicious! The service was quick and friendly and left us wishing we lived closer. Very cute restaurant, wish we didn't take it to go. If we're ever close by again, we'll definitely come back!

First time eating there. They moved to a new location. The interior is nice.We got there before lunch and there was already a crowd. I'm unsure how long they've been in the new building!They seemed a bit uncoordinated like they are trying to iron out all the bugs!Took a while to get to the front, when we did, I ordered a pound of ribs, 1/2 pound of sausage, fatty brisket and a half chicken.Then for sides, brisket baked beans, butter potatoes and green beans.The brisket was tender, but lacked seasoning and I like a light smoked flavor. Next the chicken was very good. The sausage was cut it in thin diagonal slices. I prefer cut across and thicker pieces. It was dry!Lastly the ribs. They were fall off the bone tender. The seasoning was light and the outside bark of the ribs tasted like it was mopped with the sauce. Slightly sweet, but again no light smoke flavor.I'll try again, but get there earlier! Before we left they had a long line and as slow as they are, if the folks had a job to go back to, I don't see how they made it in time.I forgot the sides. Green beans were good. The baked beans and brisket are real good, but the best was the butter potatoes! I loved them!I'd love to give them a higher value, but they need to improve a bit!Still not bad!

Found this place on Yelp while deciding on dinner. Pit Viper is a hidden gem! Ribs were definitely competition styled; moist, tender, fall off the bone with a beautiful smoke ring. The brisket was also moist and very flavorful. Customer service was great. Highly recommend trying this place.

The best BBQ in the area. Very moist and tender, you won't need a knife. The brisket has a good smoke ring and taste to go with it. You don't need sauce on this BBQ.

We stopped here for lunch today. Ordered brisket nachos, sliced brisket, and ribs. Our nachos were covered in nacho cheese dripping off the chips. They could save on their food cost and use half the queso. It was too much all the chips were soggy and the brisket had a lot of chunks of fat in it. Sliced brisket was ordered moist cut and was delivered very dry. The fat was no rendered looking as tho they smoked for maybe an hour and then finished in an oven and reheated in a warmer. Very poor quality meat. Would certainly not have won any of the trophies displayed in the restaurant. Ribs were the best thing we had.

I cant comment on the food only the owner Brandon. He stole my identity! I tried to call him to figure it all out thinking it was a mistake but he refused to speak to me and his front counter staff was rude and giggled at the situation. When all the business LOAN people keep calling me with my personal information but your name and your business name looking for you....I will now be giving them your store number, you Facebook handle and anything else i can find so they can harass you an not me anymore. I waited 20 minutes in line with 2 cars in front of me. to get 3 slices of brisket and paid $16. Place is way too expensive for the amount of food you get. It won't last long in El Campo. no fork or paper towels were given. How am I am I supposed to eat? BBQ did not have a good smoke flavor, green beans tasted like they were straight out of the can either the juice that comes out of it, and potatoes weren't that great. Don't recommend. Go to Praseks, Mikeskas or Mustang Creek more for your money and better tasting.
