Vegan Tofu? Don't mind if I do! This mom and pop restaurant is authentic, tasty, and efficient. You won't wait long and you'll get the exact flavors you're looking for. Now granted, I haven't actually tried the vegan pho yet (next on my list) but I truly love the Garlic Tofu and Lemongrass Tofu. The prices are also very reasonable, which is super underrated.

I was greeted immediately upon arriving and told to pick a seat anywhere. Picked a seat and the waitress strongly suggested another table instead. Okay that's fine. Here is what my husband and I ordered: Pork Eggroll - I was expecting the traditional Vietnamese egg roll with ground pork and woodear mushroom. It was more similar to a Chinese veggie eggroll with little chunks of pork. I also was expecting the usual accompaniments like pickled daikon/carrot and lettuce to wrap the eggroll but it came with chunks of pickled cabbage, carrot and two pieces of cucumber. The nuoc mam sauce served with it was very good! Brisket and Meatball Pho - Good amount of meat in the bowl! Portion is big and price is fair. I think it was $10.95? Unfortunately the broth is not good. Taste is pretty nice at first but then it just becomes way too salty. And my mouth was tingly! Way too much MSG! Brisket and Steak Pho - Again, nice amount of meat and good sized bowl. Same issues with the broth as the above pho. Both my husband and I felt crappy after eating here. The soup has way too much MSG and our mouths were so tingly. It took a few hours and tons of water to wash away the after effects. Honestly, I might come back to try the vermicelli bowls and some other things on the menu. Maybe everything else is great and it was a bad day...

When I walked in, it was Very slow, I thought that they were closed because of Good Friday, but Very Fast and Friendly service!!! Broth is EXCELLENT, GOOD amount of veggies, PERFECT SIZE!!! ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!!

Best beef pho in the coastal bend. I tried 8 Corpus Christi restaurants for just their beef pho broth when I was done there all summer long and needed to eat beef pho broth for health reasons. Pho Life best every other restaurant by FAR. I was so disappointed when I had to go back to Dallas Fort Worth for the fall. I have not come close to finding pho half as good up here in DFW.And Pho Life killed all other 7 restaurants I tried in corpus- all of which came highly recommended by locals in the area. So run, don't walk, to Pho Life.It is an undiscovered gem, and their ingredients are so fresh and tasty it is unreal. It is a small place, but it is immaculately tidy and all the food I saw neighboring tables order made my mouth water. And I spent 8 months while pregnant trying all highly recommended Vietnamese restaurants across Fort Worth and Dallas as all I craved was terrific Vietnamese food. (Not just pho. The beef pho needs for my health is a recent thing.) Pho Life killed all the best DFW restaurants I thought I adored hands down, and not just for pho. But Pho Life is authentic, fresh, and tasty as can be. I have never been so impressed, and cannot wait to be back for spring break and next summer to get my beef pho from Pho life back. on! Yummmmmy!Plus, the portions are extremely generous, the prices are competitive if not a little low for what you get, and the owners and small staff are super friendly and helpful. Run, don't walk, to try out this hidden gem. You will not need disappointed. I guarantee it.

I really hate to post a negative review for a small business. It's a tough economy and everyone is struggling, but unfortunately this business did not earn a good review. My hubs and I arrived around 6pm on a Thursday. Only one other table in the place. We took a seat and our "server" arrived with the strangest/worst attitude for a server. Like he couldn't be bothered to speak to us. Very brief "what do you want to drink?" No hi, welcome, how's it going my name is ____. He seemed annoyed. So we order some drinks and browse the menu. He returns with the drinks and his little notepad to take our order. I'm not sure he even asked what we wanted. Just stood there with his pen and paper. I said I think we'll need a few minutes to which he replied "just let me know when you're ready." Fast forward a few minutes and a gentleman from the kitchen comes over now with a notepad to take our order. We tried to communicate about the egg roll variety we'd like for an appetizer but there was clearly a language barrier. There was a lot of pointing going on and to be honest I'm still not sure which eggrolls we actually received. They were decent. About what you'd expect for an egg roll. Onto the entrees... my husband ordered a bun bowl and I got the Tom Yum soup. First server guy brings these to the table. One at a time. First comes a small plate of rice he bangs down on the table. Then a few minutes later my husband's food. Then the soup. This was all delivered literally without a single word and quite forcefully. Just shoving plates down on the table. Still not sure why he was so mad.... Eeek. The food itself unfortunately was not good. My husband's bun combo bowl with shrimp and chicken appeared to have the shrimp from a pre made shrimp cocktail like you'd buy at HEB based on the color and flavor. They weren't freshly made. Same with his chicken it looked and tasted like those Tyson frozen fillets you heat in the microwave. What the heck??? My Tom Yum soup was also bad. My experience with Tom Yum is limited, but I've had amazingly delicious varieties from local places like Ninja Ramen and Tuk Tuk. Those are so good!!!! This flavor tasted a lot different and not in a good way. My bigger complaint however was the chicken and mushrooms in the soup. The chicken had been boiled to death. It was hard and chewy and flavorless. The mushrooms had a chewy texture too, I'm 99% sure they were canned. Sorry but if I'm going to a restaurant I expect my food to be fresh. My hubs even said mid way through our meal "we can stop and get something else on the way home." That's the caliber of food we got.The place itself is pretty gross too. It's hot as heck, there seemed to be no central air so fans were blowing but in the heat of Texas summer that's not enough. The ceiling tiles were stained and dirty. The bowls of dipping sauce for the eggrolls were pre filled and all sitting out on the counter in view of customers. Probably 20 of them. That's where they grabbed our sauce for eggrolls. Who knows how long they'd been sitting out or if any flies have landed on them in the meantime. Gross.Overall I would NOT recommend this spot. The total for our

My husband and I ordered the crab ragoons, the combination pho and the chicken pho. It was delicious the crab ragoons are big and full!! The broth of both pho were flavorful! I fell in love with pho when we lived in Washington and were hoping to find a place down here with good broth and let me tell you, we will definitely be back! And staff were very nice also, the restaurant has a nice peaceful environment!

Fresh pho fast service we love the eggrolls ,soup dumplings and crab ragoons Recently tried the Ramon soup it was so good with a over medium egg in it

As as you walk in the garlic and onion smell increases your appetite. I enjoyed a hot ginger tea and devoured a plate of garlic beef. This is served on a bed of lettuce and cucumbers, excellent.My wife and I shared an order of chicken dumings which were steamed and tadty with the accompanying sauce. My wife had the beef short rib bowl which she said was best ever. Portions ate enough for two so we had plenty to take home.Short staffed but service was attentive and complete.Quiet small place with about 10 tables. You can hear chefs preparing your meal and you can smell it as they do. Mom and pop can be heard speaking Vietnamese while they cook.Will come again. Highly recommend

Best Pho is Corpus Christi. Always great food and fast service. Enjoy going every week.
