Shuffle board, good music, great service and very impressed with the Buffalo wings and fresh cut fries!

My wife and I went to the Pelican Lounge for the first time this evening, and we were thoroughly impressed. Let's be clear, it is pretty much a locals dive bar. Dive bar is an affectionate description for me. The bartender, Cazy, I think went out of his way to make us feel comfortable. That isn't the reason I felt compelled to leave a review. Because I don't often leaves reviews, good or bad. The menu is limited, but the food we had was stellar. My wife had a 1/2 pound burger and fries, and I had a Philly and fries. The Philly was in the top 3 I have ever had. The meat was great and the bread was wonderful. My wife really enjoyed her burger, and the sourdough bun was great. However, as good as our sandwich and burger were the fries stole the show. They are hand cut and seasoned wonderfully. We talked to the cook who seemed to take pride in the fact the fries were still whole potatoes yesterday. If you are hungry after leaving the beach/island in Corpus, do yourself a favor and stop at Pelicans. Remember, it is a bar and not a place for kids.

Was in town for the weekend had a Airbnb directly across the street. Very friendly staff !! Live music. Not to mention the best tasting hamburger I've ever had in my 49 years of life. It was so delicious I ate it up before I was able to snap a pic sorry. Lol.

After having first been at Farah's, I wasn't sure what to expect from the "Pelicant." What greeted me was a hoppin crowd, loads of hotties and a Texas country band. In a word: partttttayyyyyyyy.The place was crazy crowded but those bartenders were moving around at light speed. We ordered shots and drinks and made friends and stayed until they absolutely kicked us out. It's like this place posted up in the 80s and never left... and we loved it.

Eclectic group of people in this place. Specifically came here to hear a band and what a wonderful evening. Great plaace to watch people and hear great live music. Attentive bartenders and good drinks. Shuffle board was a busy place. Good crowd and mix of people. Really a fine place to hear live music. WIll return again soon!

We came here over the summer and saw a live band who was 80's themed and very energetic. There was a great mix of people too. It gets crowded but the beer is cold and the staff is quick.

Best fresh cut fries and Philly cheesesteak rolls (a daily special). Ever. Kazy the bartender very personable.

Cazy was so nice and welcoming and his drinks were the best I've had in a while. If you're a local or on vacation this is the place to go.

Overpriced $11 for 5 wings. Fries were good. Drinks were mediocre. Friendly staff decent music

Everyone here was extremely sexy and good-looking in a low-key sorta way.. & we were surprised there was No Attitude that usually goes along with all that.. it was just this super-chill and comfortible laid-back atmosphere.. you could talk to anyone.. about anything.. so rare in this world in 2021,Loved it.People were dressed kind of county/beachy in anything from Hawaiian shirts to Polo shirts, Western shirts to Fishing shirts, tank tops, Crocks, ballcaps, to work boots to those perfectly fitting blue jeans .... didnt matter.. in this place you could Rock your own style.. & BEST Darn karaoke singers Ive ever heard!Met all different lifestyles, and walks if life, and shared similar interests in music, culture, & Love of the Land and Sea..This community must be Awesome.. Because This was, by far, THE BEST BAR we been to All year...Thankyou !
