Patty's Taco House No 2

This food spot was definitely visited on a whim.... And boy I'm glad I did! It's now my work's weekly taco place! I ordered oatmeal, coffee, and a barbacoa taco. The taco had a generous serving, oatmeal was super thick, coffee was nice and consumable in temperature. Our waitress a family friendly and super attentive. The tortillas are made from scratch right in the restaurant! I also had toast and it was served with a side of butter. My wife ordered a pancake breakfast plate that had a heap of eggs for a serving! Will definitely continue patronizing this business.

Patty's Taco house is a south side gem! You can always tell a great Tex mex spot by their tortillas and salsa verde. And Patty's is top notch. The tortillas are always soft and tasty. They have great salsa verde and that's saying a lot. This is also my grandmothers go to. Get anything! It's gonna be great!

Drove by this place and saw a line of cars going out on the road. So thought this would be a good place to try some tacos. Service was friendly. The salsa has to be homemade and chips were a little salty but taste good. The Corn tortillas were homemade as well and are very tasty. Had a beef fajita taco and was very pleased. They asked if I wanted grilled onions to my fajita tacos. So that is an option. The tacos were packed and the price was generous. Glad we stopped and took a chance on this place. Overall Great Tacos .... The place is very small so seating is really limited but well worth the visit.

I had the enchilada plate and I have no complaints, good sauce, cheese was nice and melted. Plus the rice and beans are okay as well. Overall pretty solid enchiladas, would definitely eat here again.

This Patty's is closed down now for good. They do not plan to reopen. If you want their food you must go to their main restaurant..We will surely miss them!

Best corn tortillas I've had in my decade in SA. The fillings are simple, yet delicious.

Patty's Tacos on Goliad is an excellent and inexpensive place to feed the family. Their breakfast tacos in particular are a great and delicious buy! The staff is friendly and customer oriented. We've lived in the Brooks City-Base area for more than 35 years and Patty's is the BEST! My family picks Patty's over other restaurants in our neighborhood...and in San Antonio TX. You can't go wrong for the value and taste...great eats at reasonable prices! Try it, you'll like it!

I originally experienced a breakfast Taco from Patty's that one of my students brought for me. It was the most delicious thing that I had ever tasted, so I thought that I would personally stop by before work one day to check them out & grab a couple Taco's & a drink. TODAY was that day, and while the Taco's were as tasty as usual, my experience with they way I was charged was questionable. I ordered two Taco's & a drink (Lemonade-Sprite half & half) & was literally charged $8.34 for TWO TACOS & ONE DRINK! ! ! After reviewing my receipt, I noticed that I had been charged for 2 Tacos, & 2 drinks (@ a rate of $2.00 each)! I inquired as to why I was being charged for TWO separate drinks, & the gentleman stated that because I asked for a half & half drink, he was forced to charge me for two drinks. While he gave me my $2.00 back, his attitude was not acceptable & unapologetic. I will not be returning to this establishment.

Great food. There hasn't been anything that I've ordered that I haven't liked. Only downside is it's so good that sometimes there's long waits on the weekends.
