Havent been to pats since they changed owners so this is a brand new experience. I kinda compare them vs now. Went in on a Thursday about 6:30. 10 minute wait which went by fast. We sat in the new room at a larger table due to having a baby. I enjoyed not being squished in a corner. I ordered a beef and chicken enchilada plate and my husband ordered beef. Enchiladas were very good. I miss the old chicken enchiladas but had no complaints with these new ones . Didn't come with sour cream which they used to before but it was fine. Chips and salsa were amazing . I am loving this new salsa they have it had a nice kick without feeling like I'm going to burn my throat. The old salsa was a lotto, you never knew if it was gonna be spicy or plain. They do charge a credit card fee which is listed on the menu and i believe at the front. I think it was happy hour when i went but wasn't sure. Waitress didn't tell us if it was or not but Facebook did when i went home. Would have probably got some queso if it was. Will be back for a burger soon with fried pickles.

It was a cute little restaurant really close to the Tubing locations. Service was relatively fast! Heads up that most of the places in this location charge a credit card fee. The food was decently good! It was be the standard place for the price. It wasn't the best lasagna I've had- it was mostly meat sauce on top instead of it baked into the lasagna. But, I'll take it!

On a beautiful Sunday afternoon, I had some good friends come into town for a visit. With them being our guests, we asked where they wanted to go for lunch. Pat's it is....I am a long time resident in New Braunfels, and this is my second visit, and the first under the new owners. Our first visit was average, with their burgers being decent.We all walked in and were seated promptly with menus and silverware. Our waitress was not far behind, and took our drink order. While she was off to get our drinks, we all perused the menu. Not in the mood for a burger, I was looking for something else. I remember recently seeing on social media folks looking for good cheese enchiladas, and Pat's got a lot of mentions. Intrigued, I would give them a try. In good time, the waitress returned with our drinks. The drinks come in these mini mason jars, and for the sweet tea drinkers, a small picture. Nice. I ordered the cheese enchiladas with rice and beans. The wife and my friends got burgers. As a bonus, anyone who orders Mexican dishes gets free chips and salsa. You are welcome wife and friends! The waitress returned shortly, after turning our order in, with chips and salsa in hand. Generally, the chips and salsa will set the tone for a Mexican dish. If they are good, the food will too. The chips and salsa were delicious. All looking good so far. We continued catching up on old times back in Houston. In average time, the food arrived. The burgers looked good, but my enchiladas looked better. I wasted no time and jumped right into mine. The enchiladas were really good. Much better than what I expected. Social media claims were validated for sure. The cheese was gooey, the chili sauce was tasty, and the rice and beans were delicious. I scarfed mine down. The wife loved her burger, and my friends enjoyed theirs too. We paid the bill and were out the door. What a great Sunday with great fellowship with friends, a beautiful day outside, and excellent food. When I return, the enchiladas will be my go to now. If you are in the area, stop by and give them a try. This New Braunfels has jewel has been around for a long time, so there is good reason why. Highly recommend and will be back. Enjoy!

We drove in from Dallas and wanted to eat before going tubing at the river and this was the place recommended to us. Walked in around 1:30ish which I'm guessing is rush hour because they were very busy. Weren't greeted when we arrived and when the hostess did come up to take our names she came up and walked away without greeting us awkwardly. It took about 5min to be seated and about 25 to get our food. The server was friendly and our order came correct. She didn't ask me how I liked my burger and I wish I would have remembered to tell her but it came super hard and over cooked. No pink, charred and black, chewy. Last thing is it's very prices for what you get. My burger was over $15 and after everything and tip it came out to around $46 for a burger, fries and a chicken breast and fries and drinks. Overall I'd say mediocre food and bad service. Good if you want to eat close to the river but not somewhere I would eat again if I had the choice.

Planned a little staycation in the country and this was our first stop of the day, Pat's Place for brunch that's highly rated. The food was excellent and service was good as well. We had mimosas and a few options for brunch. My shrimp poboy was different from any other that I've had for sure. Came with cocktail sauce instead of tartar and the shrimp was fried really crispy. The chicken and waffles were a hit for me. It was spicy chicken and waffles that came in a jalapeño maple sauce and man, it was to die for! My bf loved his chicken fried steak. Definitely would make the drive to the hill country for this place.

Haven't been here in almost 20 years. What is wrong with me? Absolutely delightful and more delish than I recall. Perfectly constructed burger and the onion rings, oh my. In a food group all their own. And one of the reasons they make Lipitor.Speedy and friendly wait service. Good for kids. Yummy menu. This joint is now on my lunch rotation list. Way to go, guys. Keep it up.

Interesting. I was told by our waitress that the cook quit and you have been having a lot of complaints because you are still trying to find a new one! Also, we had been in once before since you purchased the business and all the memorabilia was still up on the walls. What you said doesn't add up. The old owners did not take all of it with them.
