Delicious and great variety of pastries I love the fruit tarts they perfect for a little after dinner treat!

Meh. Kind of curt service, and expensive prices. Which isn't to say that making cupcakes and cookies doesn't deserve a fair wage. I might have more accepting feelings about the prices if they had actually been posted somewhere. As it was, the bill comes as a bit of a shock.

I agree, the cookies are a little pricey. The cakes however are fairly priced compared to the other bakeries in town. They are also very moist and delicious and have a good selection ready to go without ordering ahead of time. I recommend the pineapple cake and the chocolate raspberry cake. The lady at the counter was very nice and informative. I don't know why someone would just pick something out and buy it without asking for the price first. Never be afraid to ask if you are not sure :)

Best chocolate raspberry cake that you will ever eat. Wow!! Got it for my birthday and finished it the next day. Deep rich MOIST chocolate blended with a perfect amount of raspberry filling. I wanted to eat the whole cake.

I received some positive feedback about The Pastry House, and wanted to give them a try.My birthday girls only request was cream cheese frosting. Therefore, with excitement I purchased a cake with strawberry filling and cream cheese frosting.The bakery did offer two choices with cream cheese frosting, and the other being mango filling.Honestly, I was so disappointed in my purchase, and unfortunately was not the only one. My daughter as well was let down on her special day. The frosting lacked flavor, and seemed very "watered down ", or lack of cream cheese taste. The cake itself did not stand well, since it fell apart when sliced. Also, the strawberry filling tasted identical to the strawberry filling or gel one can purchase from the local grocery store.My final thought. Overall, this was a huge dissatisfaction for us!! The cake was mediocre and would be nothing to desire ever again!When purchasing a more premium pastry from a bakery, one expects more flavor, more durability, just more of a wow in a baked creation. Unfortunately, we ended up with a "tasteless and disappointing baked good . One that has a "familiar mass produced product".On a positive note.Customer service was good; greeted with smiles and helpfulness.My thoughts:Please don't bother wasting your money. DB

Unlike many places in town, This shop has many unique cakes. I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great tasting cake, but be advised, most of the larger cakes range up to $50. Their selection of ready to purchase cakes varies, but unlike other bakeries in town, they always have a selection of cakes on hand for last minute purchases, or like in my case, "A just because i feel like eating cake," occasion, which in my case justifies the prices. Their selection also seems to change and every now and then I come across a unique one they didn't have my previous visit. Prices aren't visible, so i do recommend asking for prices prior to making a purchase, and they're closed on Sundays. In terms or customer service, they're OK. Some people might judge based on smiles, but Honestly, I don't care if they smile or not, as long as they're courteous and are able to assist with any questions i might have. Overall, I would give a Five star recommendation to the selection and taste alone, but it would be nice to be able to have a description of the cakes besides their names, so that i wouldn't have to be asking so many questions in regards to their ingredients.
