Papa Johns Pizza

Great Pizza as always. If you can't go to pick up your order, then have it delivered. It's one of the better pizza places in Portland, TX.

They stole my money and didn't give me my pizza. It says open till 1 am and I placed my order in at 1227. Still 30 min before they close. The app said my order was complete and I showed up to get the items but the half bald old man kept saying they were closed. Even though it says there open. I already put the money in and they already took it. I even had left a 25% tip. I'll be speaking with my AMEX in the morning and calling Corporate. This is theft.

I have never experienced so much disrespect from a delivery driver. Mike the delivery driver called me and was immediately agitated and insisted that he was at the right house. I told him that I was in my front yard and no one was here. address was correct when I ordered (I double check). Kept repeating himself over and over, we kept trying to ask if maybe he had typed in the wrong address, if he was using Apple Maps, etc. never had issues with the address, I think he had other motives because it did not make sense at all. He just said that well idk what to tell you I'm here. Lol we were polite the entire time trying to ask him questions and then he hung up the phone and then wouldn't answer our call back. The rudest conversation I have ever had with a delivery service. Incredibly odd. Not sure if he was under the influence or what was going on. It didn't make sense.

A pizza is a man's pride and when I ordered a pepperoni and jalapeño pizza i got a pizza with barely any jalapeños and even less pepperoni in my pizza. I called to place the order and emphasize the amount of ingredients and when I saw the pizza i felt like it was on purpose.

They definitely out do Pizza Hut at least in Portland and I'm normally a big Pizza Hut fan but papa johns makes better Pizza here can definitely tell they take pride in what they are doing!

Best Papa John's Pizza I've ever had. Was delivered in less than 30 minutes, extremely fresh and hot.

I don't usually do 5* ratings, but for Pizza in Portland, Papa John blows every other away. Really good, not greasy, but very tasty and we've tried a lot of their many combinations! All are good and best of all, they usually get our pick up order right. How amazing is that? :-) They have Original Crust (medium thickness) and Thin Crust (my favorite), any way you want it, or Specialty Pizzas from Buffalo Chicken to you name it. We LOVE The WORKS and also John's Favorite that is loaded with pepperoni, sausage and a six-cheese blend. Yum!

Terrible pizza!!!!! Over an hour long wait and when pizza finally arrived it was cold and stale.

If you are ordering from the Portland chain- go with Pizza Hut. I love papa johns but this store is bad. I have ordered pizza from here 3 times and every time it's been messed up. The first 2 times my food was burnt. the last time they sent garlic knots bone dry. I called them back and had them send new ones. I understand an oops every now and then but when they have jacked up my order 3 times in a row I'm out.

On vacation here in Portland and was very disappointed to call and find out that this particular PJ's doesn't "do" the 50% off military discount. Even though Papa John's advertises it, this particular franchise owner has decided against it as I was told. Very disappointed and won't spend my money here.
