Best chocolate donuts in town, and best prices. Have tried pan dulce from other panos ,but nope, i keep coming back to this one .

Just stopped at Panos on our way back to San Antonio. OMG the smell as you walk in was a good indicator of the baked goodies! Tried a bit of a cuernito and enmantecadas (muffin to me!) and was not disappointed! It was very moist and DELICIOUS! Hope that the empanadas, maranitos, and pan de huevo are equally awesome! The only fly in the ointment was the not very friendly worker who waited on us. She might've been tired and having a bad day. Hopefully the next time I come there will be a friendlier vibe. But I definitely recommend this place!

Oh dear. Where to begin.....I discovered this decadent portal into another world while visiting my in-laws house in the "barrio." Now, from an outsider's point of view, this Mexican bakery is the cream of the crop. I've never had soft conchas before. Usually when I get a concha anywhere else, it is hard already. This place offers up fresh & hot Mexican pastries, donuts, cookies & cakes like no other. I actually wish I hadn't ever stepped foot in here, because now, every time I visit Laredo, I MUST stop in here, have a friendly chat with the lady behind the counter and indulge in my beloved yellow conchas! I probably gain five pounds from this bakery alone. People, I do NOT exaggerate. This Mexican bakery is beyond my understanding...It is THAT good! Give it a try when you are in Laredo. You won't be disappointed....
