Padre Motel

My family member was found dead there. Do not stay here. Its disgusting place. His phone and all his clothing were thrown away before police got there. Do not stay there. Its a bad place toBe.

Nasty rooms. No towels. No one even cleaned room before I got there. Gap around door . Restroom didn't close at all. When you ask for refund. Then she puts a paper saying no refunds. Toilets not working properly and no toilet paper. No maintenance people just residents working for there rooms. Trash everywhere.just reported them to code enforcement.

It's a gamble to stay here. It's filthy and zero maintenance has been done. Spend some more money on a nearby hotel.

The bed linens were not changed. The television was on analog of all things. The bathroom was filthy.a I had to scrub out the bath tub just to take one. There was no drain plug so I had to use one of the 2 wash cloths. There were cockroaches as soon as we aordered our pizza. They came out of the (lack of woodwork) just to find out what we were trying to eat. The cats outside (at least 10) enjoyed our leftovers. I guess that was the bonus. Oh well....lesson learned. Check your room first boys and girls. And, most importantly....be careful of the crazy people next door lol.

I hear this is a great place to meet a nice young lady.Your friends will love the decor.This swim up bar is the bees kneez. Ask for Alejandro, he makes a dynamite Manhattan.

I booked this hotel at 11:00 PM, checked in at 12:00, left at 12:02. They charged me for the entire 4 night stay and I've been fighting for almost a month to get a refund.The room was infested with roaches, had dirty towels in the doorway, and no microwave like advertised. They directed me to the Oyo support to get a refund who. Oyo was unable to reach the hotel for over a week to discuss a refund then came back with 40% off one night stay. I've called the hotel multiple times myself to discuss a refund and each employee has told lies about their names, who/where the boss is, and the fact they can't give refunds. They can in fact give refunds as someone finally confirmed, and they claim they'll get back to me after two more days.Do not stay at this or any Oyo hotel. They do not stand behind their customers and the hotels are not maintained.

I didn't want to give a star but that's the only way I could enter a comment. OMG... where do I start...horrible horrible place.. I agree with everything Jane said, I always take my own blankets and pillows. Thank God I had them... I felt bad putting my blankets on top of what is called a mattress. A filthy mattress at that... Only stayed cuz everything was booked. Next time I would rather sleep in car. The city needs to look into this and have them update. Could not sleep either.. too much to say and nothing good. They even want to charge like if your staying at a nice hotel. Everytime we pass by there on SPID, I tell my husband never EVER again..

No stars!!!! Beware !!! Turn around and never look back!!! First of all I was looking for a place in the SPID area but everything was booked. I ran into this place nearby, and got a room for what I thought was a reasonable price. There are no words to describe this place, honestly your safer sleeping at the beach, no joke. I'd rather get stung by a jellyfish, or bit by a sand crab, than ever come back to this so called motel. Trust me you'll get bit by more than just crabs here. First room I got had a guest who greeted us at the door, A big ass juicy roach right on the window frame, look like he'd been at a buffet it was so fat. I couldn't even tell if it was alive or dead or maybe just frightened that we invaded his room. I tapped on the window to see if it moved but it just stood there in shock, so I took him as dead and moved forward. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and said well maybe they just fumigated but as I moved forward there were dead spiders,bug pieces, and dirty sheets, pillows, blankets, drawers were broken, no phone, It was horrible, and I just knew I wouldn't be able to sleep, so I complained and got what he called a newly renovated room. Room was painted and I could see he was doing work on it, but the place again was filthy. The sheets had stains and burn marks on them, room stank, I opened the drawers and they were broken, they had sheetrock pieces and dust in them(WOW)the room had new tile and a fresh coat of paint but there were roach legs and wings in the shower. Oh and to add on to this dump, there was fresh dump in the toilet with roach wings and who knows what else. After doing a walk around and shrieking at the bugs I found I was being attacked by I'd say 15 to 20 mosquitoes my friend took a shower (in her sandals) as I continued to murder the mosquitos. I said, well at least there aren't any visible roaches so we decided to stay and went to the beach. Upon our return the mosquitos multiplied and went from 15-20 to hundreds right outside the door, we got attacked as we entered the room, they were slapping us and biting us, almost seemed like they had teeth. There were bugs and frogs at the door almost as if waiting for us to get there to greet us. I went into the room and they all flew in again so I said that's it I'm getting a refund. How am I going to kill over 100 mosquitoes, and who knows what else crawled in. Went to the counter and they offered me anther room. Are you serious??? Hell No !!! I Wanted my money back or at least half of it, and he said No Refunds there's mosquitoes everywhere as he slapped one off his arm and leg!!!! Save yourself the trouble. Travel further, pay extra, but whatever you do DO NOT stay at bug Padre Motel

If I could give negative stars I would! This place is by far trash. My husband and I had the unfortunate pleasure of staying in this junk motel due to our other reservation being double booked at another hotel and there was literally NO other places to stay. Holes in the walls stuffed with paper, cigarette burns in the blanket, ceiling not completed, bathrooms complete crap. It's literally a dime store hooker motel. We actually went to DG and bought sheets to put over the entire bed bc we were terrified to sleep on it. Homeless junkies running the place and hookers with no teeth "cleaning" the rooms. It was like something out of a movie. The only think missing was the roaches but those come out at night when you're sleeping so who really knows. My husband slept by the door and was ready for some crazy shit to go down. You couldn't pay me enough to stay there again. I guess for 55 a night, you get less than you pay for! DO NOT STAY HERE! You might actually, could possibly get robbed, stabbed or find a meth pipe outside.

The worst motel ever. (and I have been travelling at lot over the last 25 years and have seen many places). Unfriendly, dirty, furnishing in the rooms many decades old and broken. Only stayed there because it was very late in the evening and I arrived after hours of travelling. I often try to save money and stay in a cheap place, but these $ 50,- were a very expensive decision.
