Padre Island Surf Camp

We signed our 13 year old daughter in the one day surf camp and she was up and riding the waves in no time flat with zero surfing experience!! The instructors were so patient and took time with each kid. My teenage daughter popped up out of the water with a huge grin and a high five for dad. WOW. Thanks so much for the great time and my daughter is ready for next year already!!

Highly recommend Padre Island Surf Camp!! My 8-year-old son Julian had never surfed before. By the end of day one, he was riding waves. Padre Island Surf Camp was the highlight of the trip!. He can't wait to be a part of this camp again. We were nervous leaving him for the entire day considering it's the ocean. There were a few other parents that felt that way as well. At pickup, we all discussed how happy the kids were and how relieved we were. Your kids are in good hands here!I highly recommend Padre Island Surf Camp!

My two girls (ages 11 & 6) attended last summer, and they had an absolute blast! Neither of them had been surfing before, and now they're begging to go back this summer! All of the instructors were fantastic with the kids. I highly recommend this camp!

My kids wanted to go to a surf camp here in Corpus Christi. My wife and I researched and found Padre Island Surf Camp was the only camp around, and we signed our kids, Luke (8 yrs) and Hannah(14) up for a week camp. My kids loved it! If you knew my children, you would know this is an extremely hard task to do. They surfed for hours, and played beach games in between. All they talked about at night was who was going to catch the best wave the next day at surf camp. Not to mention, they were so tired they went to bed early to surf all day again. My wife and I went on the last day to watch. Wow! Where was this camp when we were kids. The best part is, they offer adult surf lessons too, which my wife can't wait for. If you live here, or you are visiting, Padre Island Surf Camp must be part of your summer.

So much fun!! Josh was very responsive and was able to make room for my two kids (13 & 14) to do a private lesson while we were in town. The kids had a blast, they were up surfing within the first 30 min with no experience. I would highly recommend!

My family & I were visiting the Gulf Coast (Port A) from New Jersey and decided to sign our son up for surf camp while we were there. Our son is 8 and had never surfed before. After the group instruction and practicing a bit on land the kids hit the water in their small groups (broken down by age) with their instructor. My son's instructor Keith was amazing. The children in my son's group were literally riding every wave to shore with confidence. The camp was very organized allowing the kids lots of time in the water but also time for rest (to apply more sunscreen and have a snack) I also appreciated how much the instructors emphasized safety in the water. I HIGHLY recommend this camp and my son cannot wait to visit again so he can go back. If your children want to learn to surf this is the place to go!!!

I enrolled my son (7 years) and nephew (6 years) in padre island surf camp this year. It might be the best summer camp in South Texas. Wonderful instructors, tons of individual attention to students, and lots of fun! I was shocked at the progress my kids made over the course of one week. Highly recommend!
