We love it! My Husband is a Disabled Vet. His service dog "Hunter" loves it too.My husband of 32 years says Hunter is my service dog and I've been his service human. LOL ...I think I agree LOL. We Love El Constante. we go 2- 3 times a year.

DO NOT RENT FROM THESE GUYS ~ TERRIBLE MANAGEMENT AND TAKING ADVANTAGE OF Falsely advertised as a 5 bedroom, that sleeps 13. Was a lot smaller than described, especially when it said 5 bedroom & was only 4. Called management immediately & the lady was argumentative & said we rented it as a 4 bedroom? I asked if there was a 5 bedroom available given we showed up on a hurricane weekend? She said NO. Not true & there was so many Knick knacks & furniture we had to hide stuff in closets Moving ON.......upon arriving the only towels were on the ends of beds. ONLY I towel for the twin bunks & no pillow cases & each queen or king bed only had 2 towels each. I told the lady there weren't even enough towels for all 13 of us? She offered no solutions! I also mentioned we didn't have pillow cases on half our beds. DURING COVID-19 this is REQUIRED. During covid the cleaning should be more on POINT? This place was pretty dirty from the AC vents, ceiling fans & to top it off not enough soap or towels? We would've brought our essentials if we would've known. So I asked her if she could adjust our price bcuz we also got gauged at $650 a night, yet upon checking in is advertised at $397 a night? They did NOT even email us our details on the 72hr cancellation until 5pm the day before our trip. We were trying to figure out if we could cancel since a hurricane was expected? We were told if we canceled we loose 50%? 1. Gauging during pandemic & hurricane2. False advertising & misrepresenting from towel shortage, pillowcases & 1 whole bedroom?3. Unprepared for maintenance or request 4. No rugs or anything to mop up the buckets of water coming into the place, so we had to use white towelIf I could give 0

We stayed at nemos in the past had great time at the town home condos but this year this company failed. We stayed in 15150 in front of the pool. Amber did help us get into condo around 1. That was helpful but entering condo. It had a musky odor. The couches had some stains on them. There were no instructions for tvs all remotes were missing backings. The powder rooms came with 1 towel per person. They had no compilentary shampoos or conditioners just soap. We had access to wash but I was washing all weekend. Instead relaxing I was working. The downstair had ants and the upstairs had ants in the room. On top of that the main TV went out. We called it in but they couldn't fix it. We asked to move a TV but they couldn't because all mounted to walls. We were disappointed last year experience was top notch . That was a private Host(rented fr Vrbo). If comparing to Padre escapes the service was horrible and not welcoming when renting from them. We don't believe we will be Back.

I read some of the other reviews on here and was shocked and horrified! I have booked my summer beach trip through Padre Escapes for several years and have NEVER had a bad experience. I think I have stayed with them 8 times and have tried almost all the different complexes and buildings they offer. EVERY SINGLE PLACE has been impeccably clean (and I'm PICKY!), fully stocked, and beautifully decorated. The call center is ALWAYS efficient, polite, and readily available. We have had unexpected late arrivals a few times, and Padre Escapes has ALWAYS been accomodating and Johnny-on-the-spot to get things figured out for us! In fact, once I booked my first trip through Padre Escapes, I have never even contemplated using someone else. They have ALWAYS exceeded my expectations!From reading the other reviews, my advice would be to strictly book through Padre Escapes - NOT AirBnB. (I have nothing against AirBnB; I just know Padre Escapes has never steered me wrong when it comes to their beach properties.). Also, keep in mind, staying at a beach condo DURING A HURRICANE is not really the best time to evaluate a company's "normal' standards. Hurricanes are a tricky business!

I must express my gratitude to Amber at Padre Escapes. She has been extremely helpful. We did have a problem. The unit we were renting had the AC go out, so we had to adjust our arrival time, which was not quite what we had planned, but manage to make it happen. With Amber's help and great service, we got everything rearranged. She also went out of her way to check on a few items we were wanting to know about the unit. That is beyond just "service" orientated. Now, we are hoping the unit is as described and the AC will be working. There are so many bad reviews, I just had to write something nice, not only because it was deserved, but because we are in a time of such hatred and anger. Come on people .... I know we are all extremely stressed, and this can't be an easy for those trying to provide service in the service industry because of all the restrictions and rules; we just need to try to "chill" and give people a break.

We booked to stay at smugglers cove. Got in and the house was hot. They have signs everywhere saying give it several hours to cool down. Ok, turned it to 71 it was currently 76 in the house. We go to the pool hoping it would be cool when we get back. Got back in and it was still 76. We checked in at 4:30 bc check in time is 4p offices close at 7pm I think is what I was told( after the fact) ok maybe we didn't wait long enough let's cook dinner. Cook dinner, eat, shower now it's 9pm and we are getting concerned. It's 80 in the house now. I message them via airbnb (recommended form of communication) no response all night. At 11pm it was 83-84 in the house. There is only one window and it's across the house. They cut all the ceiling fan cords short and this is a vaulted ceiling. I climbed on my husband's shoulders barely reaching and turned the fans on higher. Didn't help. There are signs that say in case on an emergency call some number but I'm just gonna say emergency to me is flood fire injury. Not hey it's too hot. And honestly what are they gonna do at midnight. 7am rolls around I call the number bc now it's 84-85 in the house. Oh and the sink is clogged and we had to brush our teeth inThe kitchen. They send a guy over he can't fix anything. He left to get someone else and a portable cooler ( didn't help at all) send a plumber out those 2 people fix the sink. I'm trying to cook my family breakfast and enjoy my morning with my family and it's ruined by heat and people in and out all day. Ok, we go to the beach and we're told people were going to be in and out all day be waiting for phone calls blah blah. While we are gone an ac guy goes in and "fixes" the ac. We get a call saying everything is fixed. A couple hours later we go back to the house and it's 87!!! Call them again. They send another ac guy out he tells us that it can't be fixed. I call padre escapes and they are like ok let us call you back. 45 mins later they call and say that don't have any other rentals to put us in. We can keep staying there for a discounted rate. I asked over and over what that would be and they could never tell me. Or I could cancel and get ALL my money back and find somewhere else to stay. It is the weekend before Fourth of July. We have been HOT for 2 days and I'm suppose to find another place wow ok. I told them let me look found 4 places way more expensive than we planned but finally found one and she was quick and amazing. I call padre escapes back ok I found somewhere, yall are giving me all my money back?!? Yes ma'am we have to work something with air bnb it takes a couple days blah blah. Fine whatever. Get to the new place it's great. Next day I'm sent 447$ out of my 1100$ I paid. Messaged them back n and forth for days during my whole vacation. Basically it comes down to I paid 149$ a night. They aren't giving me the money back from the night I stayed. I said it should be given back but if not at least discounted. Never answered me on that. They didn't give me my dog fee back had to fight for that. Now I understand taxes and services fees but here is what also pissed me off. At 200$ cleaning fee for one night we were there and we found popsicle trash in the beds and ice cream trash next to the furniture. Also they have a dumbass policy where they aren't aloud to make the top bunks so when you get there you have to do it. Again my vacation has not been relaxing. I went to double check my rental agreement and it was conveniently expired I couldn't read it. Had to ask for a copy. It's full of blanket statements that basically says what happens when you screw up but not when they do. The house was poorly stocked. Worst I have ever stayed in. They have some excuse to not provide even salt and pepper blaming it on some Texas commissions bullsh**. Seriously they don't care about anyone. LAST THING!!! Remember them telling me on Thursday night that they didn't have any other rentals they were all booked?? They posted on face book " last available rental for this weekend call us now" they screwed us over so bad. See the pics below. If you book a trip and padre escapes is the management... I would think twice. Look at the other reviews it's atrocious!

This place has a 2.3 star rating, which is very generous. I dont take the time to share my experiences with the general public unless i believe it might protect someone else from having the same bad experience. The worst part of this experience was dealing with the host. If you remember the soup nazi from Sinefeld you have a pretty good idea. I stayed in unit 111 and the ad made it sound like your assigned parking would be in front of your condo but turned out to be the other side of the parking lot. The bed was horrible and the pull out couch was even worse. Do not stay here if you have any other options.

Below is feedback on unit 298:1 bathroom tub facet temperature control is challenging ie too hot or freezing cold 2 unit 198 (beneath unit 298) beeped every 30 seconds for three days and nights 3 the sofa bed is extremely uncomfortable and will not accommodate two adults 4 dogs (a dachshund and white lab ) in unit below us barked through out the early morning and day and ran loose on the grounds 5 the second floor hall light was out when we arrived so we couldn't see the front door lock box without a flashlight ie a safety concern as well as an inconvenience 6 The workout room was dirty and disorganized7 the entry door threshold to the 4 units is loose and is a trip hazardWe realize it's offseason, but we are disappointed with the overall experience. We expected quiet and comfort yet there are maintenance and code enforcement issues which ruined the experience.

Worst experience ever, booked a weeks vacation a month ago and 24hrs before check in a receive a text stating that my stay was canceled and that there was no spare rentals available. Keep in mind that it's 4th of July week and everything is booked now, there response is I'm sorry and we will be glad to refund your money in 3 to 5 business days. I would not recommend Padre Escapes Rental to my worst enemy, if I could I would give them a half star review. Sent an email out to them earlier today and have yet to have customer service respond, goes to show how they feel about their customers. Padre Escapes I will be in Corpus Christi and will make it my top priority to stop by and say hi. Looking forward to meeting the staff. SEE YOU SOON

Super let down when we arrived that the place looks nothing like the shining star portrayed on the website. The facility is run down and poorly maintained. There was an old mattress that sat out on the curbside the entire week we were there. They have a strict no trailer policy that is only listed in the boat section of the rental agreement. Not owning a boat I did not see this. After towing a 5x8 cargo trailer almost 400 miles I find out it will be towed if I park it in 1 of the 2 provided parking spots. We contacted management and were told to park it on the street. Unfortunately the street has no place for parking so I ended up spending an additional $125 to park at the local boat yard/storage area 5 miles down the road. The rental company has installed a nest thermostat which would up the air to 78 degrees every time we left the room. There was mold in the master bathroom around the base boards and on the ceiling. The hot tub was inop and the pool had random tiles laying loose In the bottom. The walkways to and from the room were filthy with gum stuck all over the place. On the final day we left to go out for the day only to return and find ourselves locked out of the room. After 20min on the phone we managed to get the people to understand that our check out wasn't until the next morning. All-in-all very poor customer service with very little regard for their tenants. The five-day stay here was not cheap by any stretch of the imagination, and in no way do I feel as if I got my moneys worth. Please take the time to look through the pictures before staying here.
