This is a clean and busy sushi restaurant. For those who love rolls slathered in all kinds of sauces in different combinations, you'll love this. For those who are looking for a more traditional Japanese restaurant, this is not it.We dined on a Friday evening and had to sit at the bar (not the sushi) bar because they were quite busy. The service was okay, not great. We ordered miso soup, which was not hot and was removed from our check. I tried the Oyshi sampler, which was decent sashimi and my daughter got a sampler, which was also good.There are not many sushi options in Corpus and Oyshi is about par for what I have found.

Not a busy lunch crowd today so was able to have a conversation without talking over noise. With over 55 rolls and asian entrees, everyone will find something to enjoy. Clean and courteous staff. Best item we ordered was the Sashimi Combo - fish was so delicious. The Katz salad, although delicious, could be served in a nice bowl for presentation rather than piled on a plate. Felt the sushi rice was slightly mushy and the soft shell crab was non-existent in the Northside roll. The cucumber roll was not in uniform pieces and assembled a little haphazardly.Would certainly return for the delicious sashimi combo

My first and last order from here. I place a phone order for carry out and they didn't package 1/3 of my order. We had to drive back for the food. No comp or much of an apology. The fish was fresh but the rolls were underwhelming. I ordered a dynamite which was completely different than what many other sushi chefs in many states would prepare. If I had eaten that roll at the sushi bar I would have sent it back for a refund. Very tough, overcooked, lacking flavor and unrecognizable. Hard pass. I wouldn't return.

ummm yeah this place completely missed the mark for me. I don't know if it was an off day for the kitchen because the yelp photos and reviews are really great :/ The seat was dirty when we got to our table and had to ask them to wipe it, also our server kept forgetting to bring us plates and bowls AB-BA roll - YALL this was $17 DOLLARS.... im not even kidding this was not worth the price and not justified. All that was in there was tuna salmon avaocado cream cheese... AND the sushi rolls were cut so unevenly there were big pieces and super thinly cute pieces. They are straight up freestyling in the kitchen Drunken Noodles + Tofu - this one was my favorite but the were barely any noodles. the tofu was good and crispy. Also there was so much veggies on top, seemed like they were skimping out on the noodles by putting veggies on top to cover it up Red Curry + Chicken - I ain't ever seen a curry this watery LOL the flavor was good though. The rice on the side was so mushy. I will not come back ever literally on the ride back home all we talked about how expensive that single sushi roll was lol and how they skimped out on ingredients.

Our first time here was extremely pleasant! The ambience was perfect, very clean and our waitress was so sweet and attentive and recommended the Delores roll and it was better than any other still I've chosen myself, she knew the menu well and we enjoyed all the food we tried. The menu has a good variety for families with people that don't like sushi. We will definitely be back!

First time coming, Place has great and yummy flavors... the curry salmon was great, but the price honestly is a bit steep for the rolls... flavor was good but the rice.... Was too mushy and sticky.... Idk if we received a bad batch but the rice ruined the sushi rolls for me.... Only reason I give it 3 stars instead of 2 is because our server was extremely polite, patient and friendly, and the atmosphere inside was nice, quiet and played great music hits. I'll give this place a try again and hopefully this time the rice is properly cooked and prepared and wont ruin the sushi rolls and nigiri.

Brooke was my sever and i want to say a couple things.First and foremost she has the experience that exceeded my expectation. She welcomed us with a smile and had us leave with a smile.
