Outriggers Bar & Grill

Ok. It's a bar. A dive bar. But dang, the food is good, service was great, and drinks - well, different and interesting. The specialty drinks are certainly worth a try. I had the fried catfish. The fish was cooked just right - moist on the inside - not over or under done. The grilled shrimp with veggies also done just right. But for starters - gotta go with taco fries. I mean, come on. It tacos..... and fries! Yep. Match made in heaven. Think good ok fries topped with with cheese. Can it get better? Yup! Add taco meat - just right! Now keep in mind were there mid day so less of a bar scene - and it is a dive - but I loved it!

Very casual open air bar serving food. Had a good live music, 2 guys playing while we were there. Place was pretty busy on a Sunday afternoon. Ordered food. It took a while as the kitchen is small & was backed up but when it came out it was good & hot & tasty. Drink service was efficient, young lady named Kayleigh (so). Will come back again on a nice day. Good Location for outdoor drinking & dining.

This place was exactly what you would expect for a restaurant near a working man's port, and it did not disappoint. Open air with a real cool ambience. A perfect hole in the wall with amazing burgers, have to love that. Service was great, bartender very friendly adding to the neighborhood bar /grill feel. Patrons were friendly and everything just provided a homey feel. Open air so be prepared to feel or not feel the breeze

It's unfortunate that the food is so damn good. Walking in and being met with absolute silence from the locals was awkward, to say the least. The bartender was friendly but while we waited an HOUR for a burger and Philly cheese steak, we got 1 beer. No one came and asked if we needed anything else. Also, this is definitely a dive bar with a food truck attached - we brought our kid and I wish we wouldn't have. Like I said at the start though, food was really really good.

If you want a good craft beer go to any of the venues next door. You won't find d it here.

We visited this place for the first time, and they did not disappoint us!! We had the grilled combo and 8 pieces of shrimp platter with vegetables and rice. Everything was super delicious and fresh. We will definitely be back, and any time you are in Surfside Beach or Freeport, you need to check this place out.

Service was amazing very friendly and attentive! Food was awesome too had fried shrimp and delicious! Watched the Astros game and listened to a live band! Recommend when ur at the beach!

Had our 50th High School Reunion Get together here tonight. Couldn't have asked for a better place to go. Food was delicious, waitresses were spot on. They were courteous, attentive and did an excellent job all around with so many people. Place was clean and had nice breeze. Had a nice band that wasn't blasting you out. We were able to still talk to each other. Highly recommend not only for a gathering like we had but for good weekend fun.
