Ostioneria Michoacan

Wonderful evening with friends! The staff were all attentive and lots of fun. We really enjoyed each dish we ordered...from Jalapeno appetizers to fish tacos.Their menu definitely has plenty to explore on another visit!

For a seafood place I found the seafood to be quite underwhelming. The oysters a la parilla/grilled oysters were a miss for me. After being grilled, they shrunk considerably. Not much to eat. Plus, they didn't taste fresh and small pieces of shell weren't cleaned off. Also tried the lunch special fajita, which were okay. Lunch specials and happy hour drinks are a good deal. Monday-Friday from 3-7pm, beers are $3. Margaritas on Wednesday are $2 all day. I don't see myself going back here for the seafood.

I like this place; however, they can use some improvement on one of their specialty items: SHRIMP. They don't devein it and that's gross. As you can see in one of my pictures...not even the fried shrimp is deveined! Other than this practice, their service is great. Their rice is the best as well as other grilled dishes.María: I still think shrimp needs to be deveined as the veins are not MEAT, and yes, it does affect the taste of the shrimp since its waste what's in those veins. If other restaurants do it, I don't understand why Ostioneria Michoacan doesn't.

Great find for traditional Mexican seafood. Previously I had the shrimp and catfish and tonight was the Mar y Tierra, seafood, chicken and beef with rice, beans, guacamole and tortillas. Excellent! The choriqueso, or quest w chorizo was excellent as well! Tables were well spaced and staff were wearing masks and we felt very safe. And happily satisfied!

We enjoyed everything. The two sauces for the chips. Red and green were both delightful. Our food, including the wonderful rice. So flavorful and tasty. The service was fantastic. While they were busy, we were well taken care of. We were here for lunch and enjoyed this well ran restaurant, and the chatter. The ambiance was fine for a shopping center. But the food was amazing!!

The food was amazing, the service was excellent, we ordered vuelve a vida cocktail, and mariscos parrillada it was Delicious! Our Server Anna was prompt and very attentive would definitely recommend this place

It was my husband's bday and he chose to go there. He ordered shrimp al mojo de ajo and I ordered fried catfish. The plates looked pitiful. It was a few shrimp with garlic on the bottom no sauce or anything very dry. My catfish must have been on a diet for a month before I got it. Small, skinny and dry. Half a slice of bread I asked for another piece and the waitress said we had to pay more for it. Salad was dry no salad dressing one slice of cucumber and a small slice of tomato. We just poured the salsa on all the dryness bc we didn't even get a spoon. Paid $45. Suffice it to say NEVER AGAIN!

I love the music they play here, it's a nice place, the food is reasonably priced too! I ordered a mixed ceviche in a tostada and the mar and Tierra, defo recommend

Great food, great service. it was awesome they have karaoke on Wednesday. The greatest thing was that girl Isabella was not staring, straight at us today because she was not here.
