I can't give a review of the quality of Dr. Naff. The reason is I never got to see him. I was told to arrive at the office at 10 AM to complete paperwork. I arrived at the office at 9:45 AM. I feel it is always important to be early unfortunately, at 10:30 I had not been called and in fact, people were being called ahead of me to complete the forms that I had already brought with me. I enquired with Dr.Naff'sReceptionist to whether the individuals she was calling were ahead of me. She looked at me rudely, which told me that I would be lucky to see Dr. Naff by noon. The arrogance of this office, which was packed is unforgivable. To think they have no respect for one's time whatsoever. What is disappointing to me is the amount of people that tolerate this behavior from these physician's who apparently think they are God's right hand. I can now see why the office is RATED SO POORLY. Is it so difficult to notify someone ahead of time that they are going to have an extraordinary wait. Perhaps, they could delay the arrival. Either way this behavior needs to stop, but it won't because people don't respect themselves and choose to be treated this way.

The front desk nurses are cold and rude. They called everyday for a week even on Sunday at least twice. Multiple text everyday. All to confirm my appointment that I confirmed with the first text. Then at 8:15 , 45 minutes before my appointment they canceled. Of course I was ready to leave and didn't answer. They lost any future surgery's with them. And I have one coming up soon!

This facility has the best orthopedic surgeons in the area. They are always easy to get an appointment with and have the best staff from the time you come in the front door until you leave. They have their own X-ray department so they can do X-rays on site and get the results instantly. Now for cat scans and MRIs you have to go out but they will set those appointments up for you. They also have a surgery center next door that they use and it is the Best in the area. I have had a handful of surgeries done by a few of the surgeons here and they all are top notch. This last surgery was a complete knee replacement and so far so good. According to X-rays and therapy everything is fantastic. If you ever have an orthopedic issue weather it is an accidental injury or just wore a part out , this is the first place in Corpus to go

I am new to town and needed to find a good orthopedic knee doctor. I have already had several knee surgeries and about a dozen injections into various joints. I looked up Orthopedic center and the doctors have the specialization I am looking for. I called 5 times, left 4 voicemails, and sent three requests via their online portal to make an appointment. They use a call center to handle the appointments and no one EVER got back to me. I finally said screw it and went into the office myself to make the appointment. The lady at scheduling was very nice and made me an appointment for three days from now. However, not being easily accessible for patients is the worst thing ever!!! They need to hire one specific person just to take phone calls for appointments.

Dr Cordell is great and thorough. Wait time was long. I couldn't schedule my surgery the same day because I had to wait for my husbands work schedule. While waiting I kept having quick questions regarding insurance and scheduling. I could never get a hold of Sandra I think her name is. I left voicemails on her extension and sent an email. I kept calling for maybe a week, trying every option and the entire office would not answer. Ive had to go in person once to ask about insurance and I spent about 5 minutes in that office just to get my answer. Its very inconvenient for me because I live in Rockport. After that visit I had two more questions regarding scheduling and again after many daily calls to the office and to Sandras extension I never got an answer. I had my husband go in twice after work because he works in Corpus to ask one simple question and again spend less than 5 minutes in their building. Receptionist is rude. My husband asked Sandra if there was a better way to get a hold of her and she said to leave a voicemail. My husband explained that I have left a voicemail. So she then said "she can email me but I don't reply to them" and continued to write her email on a note for my husband to give me. She also said " I saw your wife calling today, I didn't answer but I plan on calling her back". This was back in February and till this day I never received a call back. Receptionist nor Sandra never acknowledged the issue about me not being able to get a hold of anyone. I thought maybe " Im sorry Ill have the phone looked into and figure out what's going on" etc.. All three times we were pretty much ignored. I went ahead and scheduled my surgery elsewhere. Would hate to not get a hold of my doctor after surgery if I had a medical issue because this office doesn't answer calls.

Do not let Dr. Patterson do any knee surgery on you. My first encounter, I was waiting in room, he came in like a boxer wanting to fist pump me. Kind of shocking. I explained my problem and brought my old MRI. He said I had osteoarthritis and Cartlidge damage. I knew this. I requested a low dose pain medication, which he would not prescribe...............Instead he gave me coritizone shot and threw a prescription for 500mg of Naproxen and said this will give you painful ulcers, but it will help with the inflammation with your knee....and concluded that I was mentally incapable to handle a knee replacement surgery.I requested an MRI. The second visit. I was sitting on table, he came in sat on lowest stool in the corner (looking like a kid that was in trouble) and basically told me. I can't move. I can't get physical therapy, I can't walk. I need to sit and maybe swim and ride a stationary bike and tolerate the pain. I asked for a low dose pain medication. He would not give it to me, yet in the waiting room, I was speaking with the other patients with the same issues and their doctor's prescribed them strong pain medications.Dr Patterson treated me like I was one of his old College Frat Boys with fist pumps and the completely lacked explaining to me what was wrong. I had to speak to a nurse on the phone at their office to get a explanation on why I may be in such pain. It is called a Baker's Cyst. The MRI not only revealed the Baker's Cyst, tears, fractures, frays, marrow edema. No, this a not a joke. I am not in pain. And forget getting anyone on the phone ....straight to voicemail and most of them are out of the office for 2 or 3 days. Good Luck if you choose this Practice. Maybe Dr. Patterson can fist pump your knee back to health during surgery.

I had received several positive recommendations for Dr. Cordell and I was looking forward to being able to see him.My interactions with Dr. Cordell were very disappointing and discouraging, to be quite honest. I found him to be non-compassionate to my well-being and state of health. I shared with him my history, my MRI scans and everyday obstacles that I endure, only to have him tell me about how others are worse off. I felt like he would not listen, was not interested in listening and showed a lack of compassion for a patient. I should not be in a situation where a physician is minimalizing my pain. I was seeking his guidance and we could not seem to come to any level of agreeance on my care plans.I do not have any ambition of returning for a follow up.
