Home cooking at its best! They offer a wide variety of entrees, my fave being the burgers and chicken fried chicken. Great service with every visit...totally a frequented place for our family!

I work at Pine Cove and this past summer went every Sunday morning with two of my friends! It was fun because the waitresses got to know us and knew our orders by the end of the 13 weeks! Fun place to dine, good food, good prices, and super friendly staff!! I have never gone other than for breakfast but one of my favorite central texas hot spots

Orsak's is better then it gets anywhere, and it has been that way for many years. If you want pleasant and friendly people whom you feel like you've loved all of your lives, staff who can't sleep if your experience was not wonderful, and God's children who share abundantly their joy through great food and service. Orsak's used to be DELICIOUS. A must-eat-at place. I think management changed about 5 years back and the quality of the food quickly plummeted. The atmosphere is still very country, very laid back, but the food is just... not that good anymore. Try Joe's across the block.

Yummy chicken fried steak. My only concern was the warm, UN-iced salad bar with flies.....if you don't eat at the salad bar you will be pleased! My whole family was full and my daughter said it was the best hamburger she ever had.

If you are out and about and get the hungries, check out Orsak's. Homemade chicken fried steak and sides and jalapeño hamburger cheesesteak was too die for!!! Check it out!!

The reviews were deceptive. We waited 45 minutes for one bowl of chili and a cup of potato soup and a grilled cheese sandwich. The chili was nothing but old hamburger meat floating in grease. The potato soup was cold and inedible. The grilled cheese was two slices of Kraft singles that were not even fully melted. There was waitstaff everywhere and I can honestly say I have not had worse food in memory.

We had chicken fried steak which was the special. The food was really good and the pie for dessert was even better.

Worse than bad! Undercooked catfish, cold fries, stale peanuts and a bunch of surly teenaged girls running the place. I'm not sure how a café like this stays in business. The only thing offered the day we were there was fried catfish (which had almost no breading), hamburgers, hamburger steak with a gelatinous from-a-package gravy and chicken fried steak. The sides consisted of a whopping four choices...salad, fries, mashed potatoes (from a box) or green peas. The salad bar was warm and in a dark room where you really couldn't get a good look at it. I was with a group of friends and to a person we all agreed the food was not just bad, but REAL bad. The service was so slow we finally gave up and left before we got everything we ordered. We should have taken a clue about this joint by how empty it was on a Saturday. We won't be returning.
