This restaurant was fairly awful. I had such high hopes for this place when driving by- it's right on the main street of Sinton, in a cool old building. But walking up, the dread starts to set in. You see that the paint job looks like a five year old did it, and the multiple window air conditioners are creating a hazardous situation on the sidewalk, leaking condensate, creating slippery mold.Inside the place smells dank like mold. It's not especially clean, but it is spacious. The decor is completely random- a painting of seafood, a giant portrait of someone's grandson, an Asian scene, and a comical painting of a pirate. There were very few other people eating when I went in for breakfast, and the wait was still long. Turns out, the waitress and the owner/manager were both trying to eat breakfast on their own. The waitress was trying to eat her omelette before it got cold, and people's coffee were going empty, and hungry diners were being ignored. The owner/manager was busy attending to his own table, going behind the counter to get them hot sauce or more coffee, while regular patrons were left wanting. They were out of several dishes. The food wasn't especially notable or tasty. The hot sauces were served in giant containers (one of which was broken), and didn't seem clean. However, the portions were huge, and the tortillas had been heated up on the griddle. In a few hours, my stomach was upset, and the food didn't sit well. I'm not going back.

This Mexican restaurant has a drive thru so you can order and pick up your food within minutes! I noticed this as I paid for my meal. What I loved about this place was the homemade tortillas. Both corn and flour are made daily and homemade. Also, before 11am, you can get basically half off their regular prices for breakfast all for waking up early! Definitely worth it.We went two days in a row and I must say that service was decent even as we had a big party the next day we went by. I got my coffee refilled before I could even finish a cup and checked on several times on how the food was tasting which was excellent. If I am in the area again, I will definitely go here. I had 3 tacos both visits and boy was it yummy!!!

Please do not go here. This was one of the most depressing restaurants I've ever set foot in. Yes, it's in a small town. No, there aren't a lot of other options (We tried two...they were closed.) But, still...keep driving. 'Unkempt' doesn't even begin to describe it. The men's bathroom had a sign that warned against throwing toilet paper in the toilet. Yes, you read that correctly. There was a giant leak and dripping water. One of the waitresses was mopping the floor WHILE we ate. Please wait until after customers leave to do this. It stinks. And it just implies that the restaurant is not clean enough at the current moment. (which it isn't) The food was barely edible. Both of my friends got sick shortly thereafter. I could not order anything because there were ZERO vegetarian options. Not even a bean burrito or some nachos. I asked the waitress about this, and she just looked confused...'wait, what DO you eat?' I instantly hated her. I could go on, but will stop because I just can't be bothered to spend any more time on this sh!thole.

We went there today February 3,2019 and ate. The restaurant is an old restaurant but I'm telling you it was some of the BEST MEXICAN FOOD that I've eaten in a long time! The waitress was very spirited and awesome. Very fast service and the price was right. We brought home some homemade cake that was "Out of this World"! All the reviews that I read were OLD so I wanted people to know that this restaurant is WORTH GOING TO! Don't Judge The Book By The Cover! Give this restaurant a try! You'll be Very Impressed ! I can't wait to go back. This was our first time to eat out in Sinton because we just moved here. THIS WILL BE ONE OF OUR FAVORITES! Hats Off To You! We Loved You!

Old School Tex-Mex. Daily lunch specials for $4.99 & $5.99. Lunch buffet is $5.99 plus your drink. I didn't look at the complete menu, but they are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.I had the Chalupa lunch special -- good, basic Tex-Mex chalupas, with rice & refried beans (in lard, I think -- yum). Chips and salsa are decent, but average. The salsa is nice and spicy -- chips are basic.Good, friendly service. I was there a bit late for lunch, so the restaurant was a bit messy, with lots of unbussed tables and paper napkins & straw covers on the floor, etc.

This was a total dive, first they had air conditioner in the front windows and bad mold on the side walk. When we walled thru the front door it smelled very musty. We never made it passed the salsa and chips. They didn't have things we selected off the menu and the sweet tea sucked. Was really hoping to like the place, but there was nothing to keep us there.

These are the real deal like Mexico and you can get them in many different combos! I love the barbacoa and they are loaded in a homemade flour tortilla or corn. Also another of my fave's is the chorizo and potato. They also sale a lot of other stuff like homemade tamales a dozen for 10 dollars and menudo. It isn't fancy but the food is awesome and they greet you with a smile and quick service! I intend to try every taco they make when I am vacationing in the area!

This is by far the worst tasting food in all of Texas. Their chicken tasted as if they pulled it out of a pot of bad soup. Their service, subpar. Seemed annoyed I would ask fir a drink while I waited for a Togo order. There's 8 restaurants in the whole town and I'll never go to this one again.

Went here for lunch. Ordered the torta. It was good, a bit dry, but acceptable. That is, until my daughter informed me that the tomatoes on her tacos had mold on them. We all inspected and ahe was right. All that fuzzy stuff was certainly mold. YUCK! Suddenly, my sandwich was not that good anymore. I refused to inspectmy tomatoes on my meal.My son ordered the fajita plate and it barely filled the plate. Not grilled, looked boiled? The guacamole was not fresh, really dark green. He sid not eat it either. And he eats everything. As for decor....well, let's just say that any respectable designer had their work cut out for them!I gave this restaurant one star only because I had ro give something. Zero atars was not an option.
