On The Grind Coffee

The frozen coffee is amazing. I just wish they would turn their inside music down so they could hear my order. Third time visiting and had to repeat order three times all three visits. Annoying The staff are very friendly just need to be able to hear the orders as I was speaking very loud as well.

Alright, honest review time. Don't come here if you're a pansy coffee drinker. This place is for people on the grind. I'd leave your laptop at home.There's always a cheerful, happy to greet you host standing outside that's already about 3 shots of espresso deep, ready to take your order rain or shine. Grab yourself a six shooter, big Tex, or a Mexican mocha and you'll be able to take on a Texas sized day in no time. If you drive a super duty, 2500, or a duramax you won't feel embarrassed rolling through this coffee drive thru. As a Starbucks connesuer back in the day, they went to shit. Black rifle went to shit. Dutch bros is a joke. Go here if you're a true Texan.

I like supporting local businesses . I remember when the owner manned his little coffe drive up probably 10 years ago. Now it has really blossomed with several locations in new braunfels and one in Seguin. Great success story. I would go a few times a week and order a latte, which was very good. The price is comparable to Starbucks. I was very disappointed when almost finishing my drink there was a long hair in it. I let them know and they were willing to make it right, but unfortunately I just didn't have the stomach for it to go back. I really loved this place and I'm hoping eventually I'll get over the hair episode.

If you want to pay $8 for a 3/4 full iced coffee then this is your spot.The fact that they short you 1/4 of a cup of coffee because you request light ice is absolutely ridiculous. Then they tell you it's an additional .50 cents if you want it topped off.instead of shorting coffee and then wanting to charge an additional amount to give me what i'm paying for as it's advertised, y'all should consider the fact that filling a cup with so much ice that there is very little coffee even being added is why people request light ice.Another fun fact is that the girl who poured my "Big Tex" had the audacity to say even though the cup is only 3/4 full it still the same amount of coffee!!! She even tried to prove it by pouring it into a medium cup (which made no sense) and resulted in the MEDIUM CUP only being 3/4 full as well!Color me surprised. The pic below is a large "iced big tex". which i payed $7 and some change for. The profit margin selling coffee is very pretty and these guys take full advantage of serving you ice over coffee any day.It's unfortunate but the truth.

These guys ROCK! I love the Grinder - Blended, no whipped cream, with Carmel & chocolate ext inside cup. Sometime with and sometimes without a xtra shot! Yummm

Love this local coffee shop, first time at this location & first time ordering the pumpkin coffee with cold foam on top. Definitely will be ordering this again at the San Antonio locations!! Fall in a cup

I stop through here any time I'm through the area on business! Love love the options. Gives me the fuel to get my antiquing on! Great customer service. Enough of a regular that they know my order!

This location is very convenient, however the quality of service and product is terrible. I've went consistently since December and although my order has been good once or twice it is consistently inconsistent. The quality of coffee is poor and often times the order is made incorrectly entirely or it's just simply gross. My second observation here is how grimy and dirty the staff look. Their T-Shirts are soiled from making coffee, their hands covered with stains, and their hair is often not pulled back either. There is one staff in particular who's nails are noticeably long and always have what appears to be dirt under them, it's unappetizing to be given your drink when someone's appearance reflects poor hygiene. I recommend a complete training for both customer service, product consistency and overall professional appearance for the staff here. It's not hard to provide aprons, encourage hand washing, being within grooming standards/hair pulled back all while providing a quality and consistent product. I'm not sure I'll be back, I've made these suggestions to the "Manager" who themselves is a reflection of the above issues, followed closely by the "Assistant Manager" who has poor hygiene and professionalism. The store is a reflection of their leadership.

The coffee is fine. Staff is ok. $7 for an iced latte is ridiculous. Its coffee with some ice. I was at a starbucks in california last week and it wasnt $7. Charge what you want but explains why i was the only car at 9 am for coffee. Sorry yall but i wont be back. I go to gruene coffee up the street.

I do not order food at OTG. Other than a few cookies, it does not make food. As for service, there is mixed results at OTG. A few of the employees offer good service, dome are just terrible awful. You will be constantly dunned for tips when you drive through. They will hand you a tablet and and tell you, "Here, its gonna ask you a few questions." The only thing its asks is how much tip? Transactions are done by wireless tablets, unsecured! IMHO, you should pay by cash only! Most of the employees are friendly and a few are just hot-heads.
