Omni Corpus Christi Hotel

Arguably, the best hotel in Corpus Christi.We recently had an unexpected, four day stay at the Omni CC. I've stayed here over the years and always enjoyed the visit. The hotel is well-located in downtown Corpus with easy access to museums, restaurants, convention centers and concert venues.The hotel has a coffee/sundries shop, casual dining area, bar and steakhouse with another bar on the top floor. Each has its own space and function depending on your budget and preference.Service throughout the hotel is friendly and good. I'll be back.If staying overnight in Corpus Christi, the Omni should be on your list.

Here for workshop. Staff from front desk to housekeeping has been wonderful. Room service food at 10:30 was phenomenal. Highly recommend and would come back. The multiple lamps and bar in room are a great plus.

Was here for a conference for 3 days and it was a great experience. Rooms are quiet, room service food and dining options are great. All the staff I encountered were so friendly and helpful. I utilized the coffee shop the most and those ladies know how to keep the flow going and have a great attitude. The only slight inconvenience was having the parking garage elevators separate from the main elevators but also a great safety feature so not an overall issue. Close by are boardwalk w the Selena monument/tribute. The bay is an absolutely beautiful view and lots of delicious restaurants either within walking distance or couple minutes drive. Would absolutely stay again!

So I convince my husband to go to Corpus Christi after our San Antonio resort visit. We ended up staying at the OmniHotel. When we got in, we called upstairs to see if they had room for us and the Republic restaurant. They sat us in some obscure area where we could not see the water. The hostess (An elderly lady w long blond hair) claimed that they were going to to be completely full in a few minutes. There were about 20 or 30 free tables that I could spot. So we waited to see if those tables would get full during our dinner and they never did. We spent about $350 for dinner. We ordered the blackened redfish, the blackened salmon, and the ribeye. My dish was drenched in butter. The broccolini and the mushrooms were bland. The steak came out well and the salmon came out well. We paid our bill and came back about an hour later for drinks at the bar. We went directly to the bar and noticed that there were still lots of empty tables in the restaurant. We noticed lots of people in jeans and tennis shoes! ‍ We had a great time at the bar. The band there this weekend was awesome! Our stay in the hotel was pretty good. The cleaning staff was always available. The beds were much better than our resort stay in San Antonio. ‍ There was a mixup with our room-service for Mother's Day, but Lauren in the second floor dining area fixed everything. Lakisha Lewis was amazing! She gave us so many great places to visit. This would've been a two star rating if it we're just based on the restaurant dining in the Republic the first night.

Came for our 1yr anniversary, the front staff was so sweet and accommodating. The hotel was very clean, the pavilion bar was excellent with outstanding cocktail options. The bartenders were very nice. Our bay view room was beautiful, spacious, and had everything and more we needed. Plenty of parking, and fast elevators.

sh the toilet. Here for 6 days. Told the check in agent that we want room cleaned every other day (because they have a special program where if you don't get room service the provide a free meal to those in need). She said just put the no service sign on the door when you don't want service. So I did that for the first 2 days. On the third day we needed service (new towels & toilet paper). We received no service. When we got back to our room after dinner upstairs ($180) and saw our room wasn't serviced I went to the front desk to complain. Was told it was my fault (by Amanda) because I opted out for my whole stay by putting the sign on the door the first day. Well that is not what I was told when we checked in (didn't catch her name). House cleaning staff that dropped our towels off in the evening was nice enough but felt like Amanda could have cared less about our inconvenience and just wanted to blame it on us for putting the sign on our door the first night as instructed by the check in agent. Also, the main lobby on all floors are EXTREMELY cold (not heated) and feel bad for all the employees that work in the main lobby.

Automatic one star - no free WiFi. Join the 21st century folks.I'm here with a large group and I will make sure we don't come back. Extremely dated. Awful shower. Not worth the trouble.

First time in long time to stay at the Omni CC, at least 9 years. It is exactly the same as the last time. Considering how long it has been, it is still in good shape. It is about time for an update. The best restaurant in CC, republic of Texas is on top floor. Decent coffee shop on bottom floor. Family style restaurant on 2nd level that has a good breakfast.Staff is friendly and well trained. $25 overnight self parking. Gross overflowing cigarette receptacles just outside garage entrance.

Horrible banquet service with rude and neglectful service. Food left to sit longer than it should be before served. Bathrooms need to be serviced more in common areas. Hooks are non functional in the women's restrooms. No water bottle machine available to guests. Please research hotel amenities before you spend more than you should.

This place is terrible! Last night I went to the "pool" and the water was cloudy and disgusting thier were more then 10 people i think ?And I have been waiting for 2 HOURS for the bell hoppers
