Chips and Salsa were good. Chips nice and fresh and the salsa had a little kick to it. I had the chicken fried steak and fries. It was delicious. Huge portion. One person had the cheeseburger and when he bit into it his face lit up and he said it was great. Homemade patty and toasted buns. The enchiladas were great and the Carne a sada was good. Refried beans and rice must have been good. No one had any food left on their platesI was told this is a great spot for breakfast I will have to check ot out

I have been coming here for years. I have never had a bad meal. From the hamburger to enchiladas to breakfast. It's all wonderful. You will have to get here early if you want lunch. It packs out quick!

Terrible. The cook, or whatever, got confused and then offended when I tried to order something with no meat or dairy. Whatever. It's 2020. Get real.

This place is awesome. Great food. The chicken fried steak is the biggest and best. You gotta try the enchiladas too. For breakfast you try the egg sandwich with your choice of meat, it comes with a surprise that you will love

Ole rolls. I would leave it at that but yelp requires a longer review. Not a single item on this menu that I don't like. Can't go wrong here.

Hair in my food. Rude waitress. They have the refinery crowd so they don't need my money but still wanted to share.

You have to get there early if you want to have the best hamburger in Corpus Christi! The chicken fried steak is also excellent. It tends to get really crowded at lunchtime - so hurry up and get there!

Let's start with the service it was mid at best the people where friendly but only one person was doing all the tables and we didn't get a menu until we had been there for 30 minutes. Next the food itself was a gringo take on Mexican food. It was all fat if anything the chicken was dry and the cheese was heavy and nothing was seasoned. My sprite was good. The chips where all broken up like they kept reusing the bottoms of other chip bowls. The salsa had no spice either, it was just wet and lumpy tomato. The restaurant itself was easy to look at though otherwise not going back and the prices seem low and then you get taxed upwards of 6 dollars.

What a little hidden gem. Absolutely the best chicken fried steak in town. Its not the typical pounded out cut of meat deep fried to death. Its thick, juicy and not real greasy...the gravy's good too. You'd never think a mexican restaurant would do chicken fried steak this good but they do. I definitely recommend giving them a try.
