Ol’ Girls Kitchen

What a wonderful surprise. We had dinner here (Saturdays only) outstanding steak. My wife had chicken & waffles. Reminds me of the small town restaurants I used to eat at in the 70s. Waitstaff are friendly & attentive. Open M-F 11-2 lunch onlySaturdays 5:30-9pm dinner only .

Delicious scratch made country food. I love that they do half portions husband had meatloaf special and I had chicken fried chicken- everything delicious and great iced tea. The best part of the whole meal was these amazing homemade yeast roll!!!

Let me start by saying I just ate lunch here 3 days in a row. They have a standard menu and a daily special. I believe the specials are listed on Facebook at the beginning of the week. Day 1: Chicken Parmesan, huge chicken breast on top of spaghetti with marinara, ordered mashed potatoes and gravy and corn for my 2 sides. Fresh homemade roll included, 5 star. Everything So good had to come back the next day.Day 2: this dish is on the menu daily. Chicken fried chicken, huge chicken breast mashed and gravy and corn and one of their signature rolls 5 star meal again. There is a pic of this dish I posted. Day 3: daily special. Turkey, dressing, cranberry, green beans and one of their rolls. Definitely an above average meal, for me not as spectacular as the prior 2 days. Bottom line: great home cooked comfort food here, in Kingsville try them out, don't think u will be disappointed.

We thoroughly enjoyed this cute little restaurant as a lunch stop on our way to the coast. The waitress was great and kept our drinks full the entire time. One of us had the luncheon special of smothered porkchops and it was exactly as expected with huge portions. The chicken fried steak was also good - however like most restaurants - lots of batter. We loved that they also offered half portions which were just the right amount! We would stop here again.

Everything is love you feel it in the food. People are happy service is great! Ambiance makes you feel at ease.

I absolutely have no other words to describe Ol' Girls Kitchen other than to say they are the kindest friendliest, most warm and welcoming dining establishment that I had the pleasure of dining at usually once a week usually meatloaf Monday lol! I have nothing but wonderful things to say, especially towards the owner. Melissa, who is probably the heart and soul of this restaurant. You see her the moment you walk in the door, and you are greeted with a warm, welcoming smile .Melissa is always there to make sure you have everything you need. Kudos to the cooks who are making this awesome food and thanks for offering delivery as well Home cooking at its best!

Food is always great. Service is prompt and attentive. Environment is welcoming. The pot roast is to die for.

if you have the chance to eat here, please don't miss it! The prickly pear, cactus margaritas will knock your socks off! Steak night date night should not be missed. And let's not forget turkey Thursday OMG all the blessings of Thanksgiving with none of the work!

The table: sticky, the food: nothing special $30 for two LUNCH plates, the mustard: poured heavy... the fries were the best thing there. I asked if the onions were grilled for the burger her response was "no" not "we can grill them if you'd like." I also asked if I could get toasted buns about 5 minutes after I ordered, 4 minutes later she came back with the burger and said "sorry, he already made it." So with the copious amount of mustard and Mayo, my buns were soggy and tearing apart. Could use a waitress with a happier demeanor and perhaps more accommodating.

All I can say is yum, Yum, YUM!!! Only visited once but I will be back when I'm passing through Kingsville next!
