Really good place to grab breakfast, staff is always friendly. Everything here is good

Stumbled upon this place while on a westward road trip. As a native Texan, this is probably some of the best Tex-Mex I have ever had. Fresh, delicious, and authentic. It's def a hole in the wall, but aren't those the best kind? It's primary an early breakfast and lunch spot, so no dinner options.

My wife and I were in town and decided to go here cause I've been checking it out on yelp. We were not disappointed it was on a Sunday and yes it was packed. We ordered some Enchiladas, a barbacoda taco, and huevos Ranchero awesome. We still needed some nachos too. Very well recommended.

Went back last Sunday and had an awesome meal. Chips were light and crisp and the salsa was so fresh. Kimi's special has a bit of everything. Did I mention fresh? And they have wonderful margaritas. Waiter was great. I told you that the last time was just an off day. We will be back.

We tried Ofelia's while we were in Uvalde. For starters, the service was great and the restaurant was well kept. However, as far as the food goes, it was pretty meh, if not kinda bad. The T-Bone a la Mexicans was under seasoned and tasted like a midwestern mom made it, not like a good South Texas mexican meal. My buddies got a chicken fried steak and the huevos rancheros. I won't judge on the chicken fried steak because it is after all a Mexican restaurant, but just saying it was pretty bad. The ranchero sauce on the huevos tasted like it was out of a can and super unflavorful. All in all, if some more spice and salt were added to the food, this place would be awesome, but it just wasn't up to par compared to some other local places.

$48 for 2 bacon cheeseburgers (fries on one, onion rings on the other), one breakfast taco (ham & egg only). 2 ice teas and a coffee. Really?!Low, low ceiling. Customer service barely there. Cashier seemed a little judgmental towards me just bc I questioned the price. Surprisingly the food is basically good. Very basic but good. I guess the economy now. Good luck if you go there.

We were traveling back home and decided to stop at this restaurant since it looked fairly busy while driving through Uvalde , Food was mediocre at best , we had a child's enchilada plate, an oyster plate and a bean egg and cheese taco . This with 3 drinks totaled $47 before tip. I don't mind paying these prices for great food but this definitely did not fit the standard. I would suggest passing on this place .

We ordered the ofelias special and added puffy tacos. They were delicious. Comes with cheese enchilada, taco, rice, and beans.

Went to celebrate my moms birthday ...party of 13 people....and first we didn't even get greeted walking in ... we asked to put tables together and they said no and told us we can just sit in separate tables!!! We received nothing but stares and awkward silence..we called Julio's and they immediately told us they can accommodate our party and upon arrival we were greeted and seated...definitely do not recommend Ofelia's.

Breakfast tacos are on point. I judge a Mexican restaurant by its tortilla's to begin with. Food was awesome and recommend it to all... The customer service is good but the older lady is kinda rude and would make me think twice about going back...No pictures of food because I destroyed the tacos, delicious!
