Nuevo Jalisco Freer Tx

The owner's daughter was so pleasant to meet. Her empanadas were amazing.We got chicken & beef quesadillas and grilled chicken w/ veggies (it's me, I'm boring and had the veggies)The food was made to order which is always a good sign. Rice and beans were delicious. The chicken on the quesadilla and my grilled chicken was pretty bland, but everything else seasoned really well and flavorful! The margarita (OTR) was just the right hint of sweet & tangy. Cheap too! We got extra rice and beans to go because my daughter loved them so much. Authentic cooking! Oh - and salsa was spicy!! Yum!If you're in the other - don't skip it!

I really enjoyed this place. I'm sure everyone knows the saying, "It's the little out of the way places that are the best", well that fits this place. The food was great, the prices were comfortable and the staff was friendly. Try it out and see if you don't agree! I liked it!

First time here. They start you off with chips and excellent salsa. I had their lemonade to drink which was perfect. The service was fast and friendly, waitress was very knowledgeable on particular menu items. Everything was cooked to perfection and tasty! Will be stopping by more often and recommending family and friends when passing by Freer! Thanks for the hospitality!

Nice little mom and pop food joint. Friendly ambiance. Fairly authentic (they served corn tortillas instead of flour tortillas which is awesome, but still borderline Tex-Mex-y). Service was good, even though the wait was pretty long. Food was decent, and tastes homemade, but the flautas were very crispy and greasy. The chicken was juicy though! Charro beans were pretty good. Would recommend if you're stopping through Freer for whatever reason, because there's not much else around.

Good food consistently at good prices. Nice big selection of Mexican food, seafood and sandwiches. Fast and friendly service. Molcajete plate is awesome!!!!

I have eaten here a couple of different times and the food has been really good. This last time I ate a dish called Mochajete. Yea that one really surprised me. It will be a regular ordered item for me. Place is clean.

Delicious food and very authentic!!! It's hard to find good Mexican food. The food we ordered was threw the drive thru and the wait wasting terrible, and food was very hot (temperature wise) which I loved!
