NorthShore Country Club

Have played this course in 30 years, looks like it's been that long since there were any improvements. I'd rank this course 4th right behind OSO, Lozano, and River Hills. Course in poor shape, greens horrible, no amenities at all. And for $75, don't think so!

Horrendous course conditions. Cannot believe there are paying "members". $75 non-member green fee for quite possibly the most poorly maintained golf course you will ever step foot on. If you're lucky enough to live elsewhere, you will appreciate your local municipal course so much more after playing this place. Check out the photos, not special spots... that's the course overall.

Great location for a Golf Course, not great for those living in Corpus Christi - you have to drive across the bridges, not always ideal, especially when there are some courses in CC.You don't need to be a member to gold here, but you do need to make a reservation. There's also a decent driving range.Some of the golf courses are actually on the beach. I think a couple par 3's and a par 4.The Country Club itself has really nice members, and the facility is large enough to accommodate events. There's also a bar and a restaurant that the general public can come to.

Such class and elegance out here in Gregory Portland. A great option for a corporate membership or private membership. Can't wait to use the swimming pool when the weather warms.

I had a lot of fun on this course and played it many times during the two weeks I was down here. The difficulty and challenge of the course itself is a 4 or 5. Bring extra balls, many forced carries especially for an average golfer like me. The condition of the course itself is a 2. The greens are in horrible condition. They are covered with little plugs of some sort of weed. The tee boxes could use some TLC, too. All in all if they would show the course itself some love, it would rate higher in my opinion. Plus, as another reviewer said there are some beautiful holes on this course that have view of the Laguna Madre.

I love this country club! It is Beautiful and very well maintained. The back 9 has a gorgeous view and the hospitality is perfect!

Tried to hit balls at the range and asked if they had a club I could use. Perhaps one of the old clubs from the orphan club bucket. The gentleman said that was impossible and that I would have to rent a full set of clubs. It is always disappointing when someone chooses not to be accommodating when the accommodation is quite simple to achieve.

Four of us drove over to Portland from Rockport for a different golfing experience. This is a challenging course and thanks to the fly over option on the cart GPS it was easier to manage the course. The back 9 is a great view as you play along the water of Corpus Bay.

Pretty good service!The best is Sunday brunch buffet.Fridays are good too depending on the day.

I have been to this venue many times during the past year for business functions and, despite the excellent coffee, have yet to be impressed. The quality of food is subpar at best, ranging from over cooked steaks that are cut to resemble bear claws, to a chicken Wellington that could not be identified as chicken by texture or flavor. It may be that I lack the culture to understand how a cherry tomato with a sprig of rosemary in it makes a quality meal. Dessert options are good along with the aforementioned coffee. Building looks as if maintenance hasn't been performed in years.
