Going to make a new and updated review for anyone looking to try out the range if they're in the area or stopping by. By no means is the actual range itself as beautiful as the ones in the nicer areas of Texas, HOWEVER it is simple and gets the job done with adjustable targets and good space in each lane some even being lower than others. They keep it very well ventilated with huge fans and isn't ridiculously loud/concussive even when shooting with more than one person. The staff are also all so nice, I've never had a bad encounter with any of them and they don't sell ridiculously priced ammo for basic calibers like 9mm and 5.56.I give it a 5 out if 5 stars because of the fact that it's everything you really need to just go an shoot, you might need to look somewhere else if you want longer range shooting or more advanced electronic systems, but it will do what it needs to.Thank y'all for the services you provide and for being a respectful business -Elizaeo Garcia

they have a wonderful staff a very knowledgeable group of guys and gals that will help you find any guns and things to go with it they also have an indoor shooting range that is fantastic to use nice friendly people can't say enough about this place

A+ customer service on the gun smithing. I haven't paid much attention to the prices of their guns. I dropped off a Rifles to have some bases, rings, and scope mounted and bore sighted. They did an excellent job. Told me it would take 2 weeks which I thought was a really long time. Most places do it while you wait. But they called and it was ready in 4 days.

The staff is very patient and kind. Any questions and these folks answer them with out making you feel like they are rushing you out. I high recommend this wonderful establishment. Ty

I am 100% a pistol shooter so I found this range large enough for my needs, the range is well cared for and in very decent condition, I had a old High Standard revolver repaired here a number of years ago, I was pleased with the repair, the price and all the folks I have dealt with here were polite, professional and knowledgeable.

First time purchasing a pistol, and Nickolas was awesome. Very knowledgeable and helped me select the perfect pistol for a woman. Jonathon taught a 1 hour class for beginners, and he was the best teacher!! When I left, I felt very comfortable carrying my pistol and was very comfortable shooting it. Highly recommend this store especially for woman! Very nice shooting range as well!

This firing range, is as good as it gets in south Texas! I qualified for my CHL at Sharpshooter, as it is much closer to my home. But, Nichols range is far superior to Sharpshooter. More lanes, better lighting, better firing benches, able to accept rifles. cinder block barricade below benches prevent brass from entering the actual range where you cannot retrieve your brass. The people who run the range are helpful, knowledgeable, and extremely friendly, the adjoining shop is well stocked and well maintained. My experience at Nichols gun`s could not have been more positive. I wholeheartedly would recommend this as a super place to practice marksmanship!

The range is actually probably the nicest indoor range in Corpus, but the issue lies with the fact that they are very picky about the ammo you use there, and most of the staff give you a different answer on what kind of ammo you can use. I've been given the okay to shoot steel cased ammo before, I've been told "you can't use that here because it'll damage YOUR gun", and some staff aren't okay with bimetal bullets being used, but some are. They do have some cool gear and guns in stock, but man, do they charge for it. Do some research online about what kind of prices you should pay for things before making any purchases. The redeeming quality is that range is not too small, has lots of circulating air, and they have sinks and soap right outside of the range. One thing that makes this place worth going to is the folks working there...they have helped me with multiple guns that needed fixed, sometimes it was something simple I should've seen, but they are always reasonable about things.
