New Stride Physical Therapy

My mother received severe burns here. They failed to pay proper medical attention the heat they applied and now not only does she not have the relief that physical therapy promised but she is contending with the pain of being burned. The staff is now in a fierce CYA mode. These are not healers. Stay away at all costs.

Before going after my surgery I called to make sure Traci the PT has experience with multilevel cervical fusion patients as not all PT have and I was told yes, my surgeon said picking a good PT was critical since I had 3 level cervical fusion. I will need 6 months- 1 year of PT. Yesterday right before my visit I received a call saying the PT Traci was out sick and to reschedule for the following day, I asked if she'd be feeling better by then and was told yes. I went in today, waited 20 min to be taken back and be told told by a different woman Traci wasn't in and she would see me instead. Mind you, this woman wasn't REMOTELY wearing her mask right. Her nose and part of her mouth were uncovered. I asked her to please cover nose as I have severe asthma and can't get covid right after my neck surgery. It is mandatory to wear mask over nose and mouth right now at offices like this. As a nurse I was surprised they aren't taking covid more seriously, many of my patients have died of it. I had a huge neck surgery and need PT close on the island but now I don't know what to do. We should see who we are told we are going to see and we should be kept safe.

Traci McCloskey does a thorough assessment before a treatment plan is developed. The exercises that have been prescribed and the treatment started have been helpful thus far. I recommend New Stride.

I went to New Stride Physical Therapy and couldn't be more satisfied. They got me back on my feet and did everything they could to accommodate my needs. I unfortunately have to have surgery on my foot again, no fault of theirs, but I will be back after this surgery. Its a fun atmosphere with great people. I highly recommend!

I have found the staff to be very capable and caring. They are knowledgeable and thorough both in therapy and in educating the patient about how to exercise with care at home. I would highly recommend Dr. Tracy and the staff at New Stride.
