Nemo’s Seafood Grill

The food was excellent. I had the grilled drum, baked potato and green beans. All were perfectly cooked. My server was warm and attentive. This was my first time there but certainly not the last.

First time eating here... the food was good and cooked to perfection. We had the fried mushrooms to start. While the mushrooms were good, the ranch was very tangy and not the best, unless you prefer that style. For the main dish, I had the Nemos platter that had plenty of fish, oysters, shrimp, crab cake and scallops. All was good, but the fish was exceptionally good and flavorful. My wife had the chicken fried steak with a baked potato.. it was also flavorful and plentiful.Our waiter was very tentative and made sure everything was perfect. She also kept our ice tea topped off.We arrived soon after they opened and the place started filling up quickly, so be prepared for that. The location can seat large groups, but you may have to wait, unless you arrive early.

The fried Shrimp, oysters and Fish are amazing! The sauces are definitely homemade and made right! (I can't speak on other food because this is all we had). The service was outstanding, albeit, this isn't hard because as others have said the place is very small. The food came out quick and was fresh and cooked perfectly.The only 2 things I would change is maybe expand to a bigger location and don't let employees (specifically the busgirl). She had earbuds in and was talking while bussing tables. It's not a huge thing, but to me if you're at work, you don't need to be on your phone at all. This society of cell phones is ruining everything.Oh one last petty thing, it's cool if you're a longhorns fan, but maybe don't piss off half the people by having it on your cups. As an Aggie I wasn't impressed with that. Leave that and politics at the door.

Clearly a local hangout, this place was busy both nights we were there. The food is tasty, service is quick and friendly, and prices are reasonable. Highlight was definitely the egg rolls which are made in house. Do not miss out on those. This place is a well-oiled machine. I'd go back if I were in the area.

The food is super fresh, homemade, delicious. Has red snapper with shrimp, cabbage, Cole slaw and backed potatoes. And tuxedo cake (to die for). Took most of it home, because lots of food. Amazing left over later.

We got 6 lbs of spicy crawfish (to go), if I were eating just the crawfish, I'd give them a 10/10. However, I felt the need to deduct stars, because I paid $12.00 to add sausage to the crawfish, and once we got home, we realized that they gave us about a 1/2 of a hot dogs worth of sausage. We definitely got ripped off. So - do I recommend this restaurant, yes/maybe, but I feel like it's kinda crappy to do that to people after paying such a hefty fee for sausage.

The good? Fried shrimp! Great prices AND great fresh plump shrimp fried to perfection! Cocktail and tartar sauce on point. Top of line in this regard. The service is quite good. Our server was fun and cared a lot about what we thought of the food.The Average? The interior is a brightly lit end cap of a strip mall. Nothing bad or great about it. The fried pickles were decent, and the oysters were fresh and good with decent cocktail sauce at a great price. Maybe the oysters should be on the great side, if for just the price alone.The less than great? The gumbo was exactly the kind I don't like... way too gravy like with strings of chicken and one shrimp and little flavor. Had I not ordered the gumbo, I'd have given this four stars. Worth a try, though

Finally decided to check out this new little place in Rockport. Fast service and really decent food menu. I had the 1 fish, 5 shrimp & 5 oyster plate and it was good. Comes with fries and coleslaw I had a salad (up charge 1.50). It's not a fancy place at all, but that's okay because they serve beer & house wine. I like sit down service without all the frills. Somewhat pricey but so is going out to eat nowadays. I'll be going back for the Gumbo and next next visit I'll try the Pho! Did I mention they also have Burgers on the menu for those seafood haters ?!?!??? Great appetizer menu options too. I will be a repeat customer!!

We had very good service and the food was awesome. My husband said the best crawfish in town!!! I had a cheeseburger this time and was nervous ordering that at a seafood restaurant. It was delicious!! I could have eaten 2!!! We had lobster bisque, boiled shrimp, and fried crawfish earlier this week and it was very good too!!

First time here and was wonderful. Had oysters on the half and fried oysters, they were delicious. Gabriele was my server and she was extremely attentive. Food was server's and quickly. Steam poring off my baked potato. I highly recommend. ​
