Myron's Prime Steakhouse

I really enjoyed my birthday dinner and server was phenomenal. The ambiance is very romantic with the low soft lighting. For starters, hubby and I had the Soup du Jour (I forgot what it was called) and the French onion soup. The Soup du Jour was delicious! It was like a spicy and creamy chicken tortilla soup with jalapeño. The French onion soup was good too and very cheesy on top. We also had the "salad". I'm not a big fan of ice berg wedge salads. There isn't much nutritional value in it. I would have preferred a mixed greens or arugula salad to come with the meal. For our entree we both had the mixed grill that comes with the filet, stuffed quail, shrimp and fried tomato. I really enjoyed this dish! You get the best of everything and the stuffed quail was so yummy. For complimentary birthday dessert I had the cheesecake. It was just a tad bit on the dry side but tasted good. And it was a huge slice! Definitely shareable. Overall a great meal and our waitress Amanda took great care of us!

My bf and I went here a couple months back for dinner on a Saturday night. The parking is not great but I did like we had the convenience to make reservations. Service was okay and kind of slow so we were not extremely happy with that. Another issue is the entire restaurant was a little humid or the AC was not properly working. Other guest were also complaining about this. Our drinks were also not good at all. I asked for a virgin mojito and it tasted like lime with sparkling water with no flavor at all. Food did take a while to come out and for the prices we paid we expected it to be better. Steaks were okay. I had filet mignon and it didn't have great flavor. Bf had ribeye and it was better than mine but overall nothing spectacular. So overall not a great experience! We most likely will not return.

Excellent food, service and atmosphere. Very pricy though. Filet mignon was perfect so no complaints here. I am a foodie so I diagnose everything I eat. The crème anglaise stumped me because it had a "eggnog" taste to it. Like nutmeg was an added ingredient. Not what I was hoping for. It also had a gelatinous texture which I found unappealing. Our server was great - he apparently worked his way up from bus person, server assistant to server. Great promotion model so the servers know their product. Will definitely be back!

Good every time. Professional and courteous staff, excellent food. Watch out for the ghost that haunts the place.

I chose Myron's because it seemed like the nicest restaurant in the area & I was very correct! We had martinis for appetizers and I really enjoyed the raspberry martini, don't let the color fool you it had an amazing raspberry flavor. I got the 16 oz ribeye and I can truly say it was the best steak I've ever had in my life. We shared sides and I loooved the jalapeño Mac & cheese it had a very fresh taste to it. The server surprised us with a crème brûlée for our anniversary a very sweet surprise! Myron's was very romantic and honestly cheaper than what I thought I would truly give it 3 $ instead of 4. If you're looking for a high quality meal and service Myron's is the spot for you!

Met friends from San Antonio at one of their favorite places. It was delicious! I loved the blue cheese wedge & my scallops. My husband's bone in ribeye was excellent. My daughter had the halibut special that was also good. Our friend said the building use to be an old movie theater. We had great service by our waiter Austin.

Myron's is the perfect choice for any celebration, especially for a diner with Celiac. I recently enjoyed a fabulous birthday dinner because Myron's offers a number of gluten-free menu items. My New York Strip (aka Kansas City) was outstanding, perfectly cooked medium-rare. Our server Wes was nonpareil. He was knowledgeable about my GF dietary restrictions, and made recommendations on the best items to order. He had our best interests in mind and saw to it that our experience at Myron's was exemplary. The ambiance is quintessential steakhouse, a perfect setting for a fabulous evening.

Service was great. Our waiter was very knowledgeable and attentive. Water always full. Food - we had the chateaubriand. The steak was wonderful. The iceberg salad could have been made more high end. The side we chose was the broiled tomatoes. It was too strong, especially with the hollandaise and bearnaise that came with our steak. But that was probably not the best choice of a side on our part.Ambiance- is 3 stars. It was my first time at Myron's and I was shocked it wasn't more nicely decorated. The curtains had to be very old and so out of style. Bathroom was like a closet. No real decor. I think they could do better than this. For the nicest steakhouse in town it probably has the worst atmosphere. They need to update.
