Great little house next to the pool! Located in a nostalgic RV complex with several retro themed houses and mobile homes.Absolutely the most pet friendly place we have ever stayed at in Rockport area, and we have stayed at quite a few. Quiet and just a few miles away from downtown Rockport and Port A if you want to go out to eat, go to the beach, or enjoy the nightlife. It is truly one of a kind! This was our last trip to the coast after I was diagnosed with terminal cancer and came home to begin home hospice and prepare for my final journey so it was extra special to my wife and I. We were both born on the Texas gulf coast and really loved to go to the coast almost every summer, but we really treasured this last visit and could not have chosen a more perfect place to stay. A+++++

A wonderful throw back in time!. It's perfect for our dogs and all the accommodations needed are available throughout the rental and the grounds. The pool has the feel of family around the pool. Hot tub is perfect for late night relaxing. The dogs have the freedom to run in the small gated park.We will be back!

Absolutely the most peaceful & relaxing vacation resort, if you are looking for a little piece of serenity in between the gulf and the bay! These rentals each will bring their own spice into your stay, as they all tell a story, and you're just adding to it! But while you're here, you do get to enjoy an incredibly clean, heated, above ground pool and a fabulous hot tub! Pets stay free, and dog park is quite sizable! There even tends to be fresh bowls of water out, for anyone to enjoy. (The others did look at me weird when I got down in the grass to get a drink, though...maybe, bring your own) And overall, I always feel very safe there, even taking trash out at night or walking the dog in the dark. Gerilyn, the owner, is extremely friendly & patient; as I locked myself out the 1st night, and she was very understanding & able to accommodate me with an immediate solution...she has always responded to me right away, everytime i have reached out to her(unless she did not have reception! )Dont cheat tourself by NOT staying here!! Have a great time & be good to yourself!

The park is quiet & friendly. Gerilyn & Jason are excellent owner/ operators. They even have kayaks you can borrow for free! Rockport is a wonderful small town right on the Gulf of Mexico with great fishing & swimming. There is always something fun to do in Rockport! The only reason we are no longer staying with Gerilyn & Jason is because we MOVED to Rockport in 2021 after staying in Mermaid House! I highly recommend staying here!
