Murdy's Public

I play trivia every week at Murdocks (FREE on Tuesdays from 8-10ish and you win $$...for those who are interested ).The bar has a nice atmosphere and isn't very crowded (which I like). For trivia parts of the bar are much more full than others but I always feel like I have room to breathe. Sports are usually on TV but I've seen them put up CC important events before like election debates which is nice if you are trying to choose betweeen TV or social night. Drinks are strong and the specials are good! I've noticed they have new staff recently but all my waitresses have been decently attentive (some more than others) and I'm never dissappointed there. Some of the staff are real lookers too :)Although they don't serve food, you can always bring stuff in and Googly's (amazing pizza) delivers there for free!!All in all a good chill place with cheap but effective drinks. What more can you want on a week night?

Y'all do not answer for sh*t when it's not busy, as it states. (Being 9pm) I want to go and see what the hypes about, but no answer says a lot already.

if you want to bring your dog here maybe you should call to ask what "hours" and "situations" you should be allowed to bring your dogs to a "dog friendly bar" bar in corpus.. met some buckshot resistance to having my dogs on the patio because it was a "fight night"... people will dogs research prior to going places to make sure They aren't turned away and it was a fuking battle to get into the patio.... Also the waitresses are ass as they Ignore single women by themselves

Murdy's Public is quite outstanding. Whatever your in the mood for, they have it. Every thing we purchased was excellent and the menu itself was to die for. Crew is really pleasant and will certainly help you with anything. I definitely recommend Murdy's Public and will be back.

Garbage. Bouncers are cocky and Bad vibes all around. Too bad cuz I like it's location.

Thursday's are fairly busy. It's a mixed scene of young college and middle aged people. It's a city Thursday night hot spot. Upon walking in I went straight to the bar. I noticed only two bartenders were working. You would think they'd have more knowing that Thursday is a busy night. I waited 30 minutes before I was able to get drinks. This is a spot to go to if you want to spend most of your night sober. (Not saying you can't have a good time that way.) The music is okay. No top hits or current music trends. I will say they do have $1.50 Jack and $2.50 crown but does it compensate for the wait? Personally, I don't think so.

2.75/5 starsThis is the bar that people wanna go to at the very end of the night, or the very beginning. I personally come to this bar when I wanna kick start my night with a couple shots, or when I want to end my night with a chill drink or two. One of the main reasons why I come here is because of the hot dog stand that's usually situated right outside, which has exceptional hot dogs/burgers, esp when you're drunk.I find the drinks here tend to be a little on the expensive side, esp for regular shots even with wells.Nevertheless, I still come here, whether or not it's poppin' because its on my usual barhopping route.

We were there in the middle of the day so we didn't get a feel for how it is in the evening, but in the day it was Larry nice and the waitresses were quite good. It looked clean and well kept they don't serve food so they gave free popcorn, but the beer was great.

I love this place. Everyone working is so nice and sweet. Corina and Shay are the best cocktail waitresses you'll ever have. They are outgoing, friendly, and attentive. You'll never wait for a drink. Best bar ever!
