Mr Shrimp

This is my go to spot for sushi. I tried their enchiladas callejeras. It's good. My husband got tripa tacos. They were delish!!!! I love that they enclosed the outdoor patio with windows. Service was great as usual.

Alright, my friend knew about this place for a long time and she wanted me to tried it out so we did. Again, I'm not from around here but I love sushi and pizza as you can tell and so we head on over to Taco Kissi around eleven o'clock at night to get some good food. By the time we go there, it wasn't that crowded, the servers greeted us in front of the store, and they even open the door. Good services so far, got seated right away by a waitress which she asked us what we like to drink, my friend got lemonade and it just asked for water. They gave us the menu and for about ten minutes or so, we order. I got the Kissi roll, cabello's roll and a Tortas de ternera which I haven't had one over four years. Total cost was $30.55 with the charge of water. Which by the way they charge me for it and the water was NOT Fiji water, it was tap and I didn't even drink it half way. Overall, the food was the bomb hence the four star rating it would have been five stars if they didn't charge for the unnecessary $2.75 for water. The sushi was different but I liked it. No wasbi though, but do try the cucumber salad that goes with the sushi, it's really good. Some of them comes with a crab salad, not my taste since it was too creamy.

I love it .... food is delicious! My son and my entire family loves it here! My son loves the Mexican hot dog, my mom loves the shrimp cocktail and I love just about everything but since I'm on a diet I love the light tacos lol.... or the avocado salad or the shrimp salad and the list goes on and on ... and on

If you're in the mood for Mexican seafood then this is the place for you! The Mexican style fish fillet was amazing. My friend got the sushi and that wasn't so good so I wouldn't order sushi at a Mexican restaurant. Other than sushi everything else was really good.

This is such a fun little spot.Its a drive-in but they also have seating. I always sit in the patio.The food is cheap and good and the service is kind of great.I guess its 3 different restaurants in one, but I always order from the waiter so its all just one dude...though it explains the variety of the menu...they sell sushi, tortas, oysters and Cheetos w/ cheese! seriously Cheetos w/ a side of melted cheese.A dozen oysters are small but for $10 I ain't complaining.Love it and its a must stop- every time I visit Laredo.

I've been coming here and recommending this place ever since this place opened up years ago. Its been growing and growing. Mr. Shrimp itself is part of the other two stands right next to it... Tacos Kissi and Mexidogs.Mr. Shrimp has some great Seafood dishes such as Shrimp Tostadas or some really good seafood soups. They also have a full sushi menu.Tacos Kissi has some pretty good combos that lets you get a bit of everything Mexican carne asada type food.Mexidogs is for that inner kid in you providing all the junk food goodness. A Mexidog is a bacon wrapped hot dog with beans, salsa, and some cheese. You can also go with frito pies or corn in the cup. The best part is that you can order from any of these stands using the same exact menu and sitting anywhere in the facility... including your car!!Enjoy!

I ALWAYS get the Cocktail de Cameron. It's great! Also, the tacos are amazing as well.

Why? Because the service is top notch, the food is narco-shootout authentic, (not that sweet red sauce cheesy sourcream crap). Prices are wallet friendly, and it's open crazy late. There's even xtra parking in back if u wanna eat in the indoor a/c section. TV monitors, Salsa Merengue/Cumbia/Rock Español/Norteño/Bachata pumpin'out the speakers. Hand sanitizer at the front window! Dios mio Señor Camaron, why did u wait til i left TX to set up shop? Now i gotta fly bk to this shitty/awesome/dangerous (HOT) ass town as often as possible-just for YOU!! I'm not a Long Distance Relationship fan, so I may hv to move back just to be w u. (ill take 2 shrimp hervida tostadas w no onions & extra avocado). Best salsa,lime & chips starter in the whole town to go w it for *free*! Damn those chips are good. The little cups of hot salsitas that come w the chips are even better!! Can i please hv some more? Plus u stock each table w 2 bottles of Yucatan hot sauce (red & green knowhutimean?) AND Tabasco sauce? Did u know i was coming or what? You'll let me order an Agua Mineral preparada? Or even a Corona? U get me Mr. Shrimp, we were meant to be together. My Crystal Ball -also- predicts this Yelp review will launch Mr Shrimp into the top spot for late night eaters in LRD. Uppity LaRoca types-please stay away!!! We dont want your luxury cars getting jacked while you take up valuable table space!Oh yeah, and good riddance Danny's! Be glad taco bell doesnt sue u for stealing their gringo tourist trap garbage ass recipies!!!!!!!!!!!

Why is it that all these less than mediocre and overpriced restaurants have such high ratings. DON'T EAT HERE!The food is awful and the service is worse!How is it that they miss my order when they had 20 plus minutes to prepare it. And it was not lunch or dinner rush.You need to hire competent employees. I had ordered an extra order of Charro beans and I got refried. Do the words charro and refried sound alike? No. They do not. And then the food had this strange aftertaste to it. I'm hoping I don't get sick from eating this trash!Do better or just don't do it!! Not everyone in town is complacent enough to give this trash heap of a place a 5 star rating. This is ridiculous.I am not coming back here. And in all honesty we all need to stop making these badly run and expensive places rich. We deserve better than this trash. Don't settle for barely edible food and bad service. Demand more from these uncaring owners. And I'm includeding all local restaurants. And looking at the reviews the owners don't seem to care what happens at their business as they don't bother to reply to any comments.

Super bad customer service and forcing me to pay for something I didn't even touch bc I couldn't , according to them I had to pay for it bc they had already made it . And the supposedly manager told me I complained last time as well . Well if Iam paying for something Iam asking for I expect to have it like that , waiter was out of line and managers words and mainly Attitude was not professional at all , do no recommend this place at all .
