Mr. Jaime's Taqueria

The portions were nice in size and the food was cooked and seasoned well. Would like for them to have longer operating hrs.

What you would expect from a south Texas taqueria, and so much more. The service was excellent, the tortillas were homemade, and the iced tea was made to perfection. To me, nothing hits harder than breakfast tacos for lunch after a night out, and nobody hits harder than Jaime. This level of quality warrants a renaming to "Dr. Jaime's Taqueria". Cheers.

The wait was long: there was no one available to clean tables. Coffee was not good and came out cold, Kingsville tap water saved the day. Service was slow. The flavor of food was fair. The taco salad could use a little work, they added way too much sour cream so it drowned out the flavor of all other ingredients. It kinda tasted more like a 5 layer Mexican dip and looked that way when I began to dig in. I picked at the meat and had a lot left as it wasn't a pleasant meal. I did love the complimentary chips and salsa over the main course. My friend seemed pleased with her plate, I should have ordered the same.

Good food! A little crowded with too many tables and. Chairs too close to each other!

This is our go to for breakfast, and lunch. Their food is consistently very good, and very inexpensive. Their waffles are also very good.

Food was delicious and the service was excellent. We ordered a variety of items including nachos, enchiladas, carne guisada and mini street tacos. Definitely a must on the way to or from South Padre. We will definitely be back. If you live in the area and haven't tried it...go immediately.

Came in to have lunch there weren't many cars in the parking lot. As I entered the restaurant there were not many tables seated and I picked an empty table that was not dirty. Set around for 10 minutes while the servers stood at the window to the kitchen chatting and/or waiting for food. No one ever came to take my drink order or give me a menu or acknowledge I was even there. This is the second time this is happened to me I will not be coming back.

From breakfast to lunch you can't go wrong with Mr. Jaimes Taqueria I was providing the highest level of service and great tasting food. Don't forget on Tuesdays. The chicken fried steak special is worth the drive from anywhere the atmosphere is like a small café very chill.

Delicious breakfast tacos. Toasted flour tortilla is a plus. Love the Machaca taco!!!

Garne guisada was so tender you could cut it with a fork. Rice and beans were so tasty and the enchiladas were without question, the best I've ever tasted. Treat yourself and I promise you won't be disappointed. Waitress was very attentive despite the busy hour. It was noisy in the dining room, but the aroma from the kitchen made me feel like I had just walked into my momma's house.
