Mr Corn

Like the name says, this is where you go to get elote! Of course, they do have a few other items on the menu, but you really can't go wrong with the elote. This was a really affordable, albeit quirky little place. I really wasn't sure what to expect when I first pulled up, but imagine a drive through tunnel to order your street food! You pull up, into the little drive through, and you'll see their very straightforward menu. There's a little window with a person taking your order. It's all a very efficient set up. The corn in a cup itself was great. Simple, buttery, flavorful, and a perfect snack. This was a great place to visit.

Tasty and reasonably priced for the large. I think it was $5 something but considering the packaging, spoon, bag etc etc included it makes sense. When I was there there were 4 cars in line so clearly it's a popular spot.

first and last time. Corn was lukewarm and tasteless. Cheese was not fresh. I was really disappointed because reviews were okay but nah don't waste your time and go find someone better.

Mr. Corn is great local hidden gem, a holehole in the wall restaurant with a small drive thru. They do have a small menu of snack food but they are best known for their Corn in a Cup.The Corn in a Cup is a simple but delicious snack made of Corn, Mayo, Butter and Cheese and served with a small house Red Chile sauce that's more tangy than hot. I suggest if you are new to Corn in a Cup, try it plain first and add sauce for flavor as you eat. It's available in three sizes: Small, Medium and Large. I suggest Medium if you are new to trying it. We always make a stop here when we are in town. I recommend it if you are looking for a tasty snack.

If your looking for your Elote Fix.... Come here ASAP! It's so good!!!! They even have a covered drive through to protect you from the heat and the rare cold snap!

This place is one of the many snack places in Laredo. I ordered the corn in a cup since this place is called Mr. Corn. It had plenty of crumbled cheese on top and was pretty soaked in butter and mayo. The red sauce that went on top was tangy and mildly spicy and it went pretty good with the buttery, heavy corn dish. Although terrible for my body, the food overall tasted pretty good and at 4-5 dollars I felt the prices were fair. Would definitely stop by again.

I don't know how the reviews are this good. I went during the week when it wasn't busy at all a random Thursday and the corn was soo overcooked to the point that it was rubbery. Inedible. Then it was FILLED with butter. Almost halfway with just butter. My whole family and I were genuinely laughing at the fact that they served us that garbage. No one wanted the corn so it went to the trash. Waste of money do NOT buy here it seems like hit or miss but for me it was definitely a MISS. Especially that price for CORN, I expect fresh good food not this mediocrity.

Love Mr. Corn, they never disappoint when I visit Laredo! I Always order at least 3 orders of Corn in cup since it is a big hit in my house.

I love corn in a cup and this place is just the best and at a reasonable price too. I've tried a few places around town and they're all good but this is the best.

Truly the BEST corn in Laredo!!! Also, the staff were so sweet when I approached them. Truly recommend for a great snack and great visit
