Good Mexican-American breakfasts, Flour and corn tortillas. Freshly made!Barbacuá served with beans, onion and cilantro-freshly sliced or cut.Pancakes served by 1, 2 or 3! Syrup served in cute honey bear decorated container. Fluffy and tasted yummy!Decent amounts for a quality breakfast.Sorry no pictures! Maybe next time.

Never again. Ordered the Bistek Ranchero..meat was to hard and it had no taste...I sent it back..and still got charged for it..the tea was sour as hell..returned it..and still got charged for it..and Carne guisada taco was subpar but it was better then everything else they had. This is the last time I come her. I wish it had a (-) star becuz thats what it deserves.

Wow! I was blown away at how flavorful and authentic the food is. We came from California and even though most people seem to like the Mexican food in Cali, we have a hard time finding decent Mexican food most people haven't had real authentic Mexican food unfortunately and they are missing out, but not in McAllen at Morados. They do not skimp on flavor or portions, different salsas to accommodate different palates as well. Homemade tortillas in house, which was a treat! And did I mention how friendly the owners are, they are the best!

What a bunch of rude assholes! Every single time I call there the people that answer the phones are stuck up pieces of shit! I just called around 4:45pm and it rang forever and then someone answers the phone with attitude, "hello!!?" And I politely asked what time they close, and the she says, "5pm thank you and hangs up on me!" What a bitch! If that's the attitude just over the phone then just imagine how much effort is in their food! Pissed me off, what a sorry excuse for an establishment to have! No wonder I haven't eaten there in over 3 years! Everyone skip this place please so they can close down forever! Fuck your Morados on 23rd!

Second visit today. Very disappointed. The first time service was prompt and the food was delicious with generous portions. Today the service was slow and very disorganized. It took three trips to get our soft drinks and tea, chips and salsa, and napkins. After waiting over 30 minutes we inquired about our order and were told by the server she needed to get after the kitchen because they were sending out other server's orders but not hers. She brought 3 plates (there were 5 of us). We waited a long time before we got her attention and requested silverware and other items. After another 10 minutes or so I left the table to find the server comadreando with folks/friends at another table. I asked for the last two plates and tortillas which we were waiting on. She brought them out immediately, cold.The food was indeed delicious, but the portions were very small. The service was inexcusably poor. Instead of enjoying a nice meal, it was a disappointing experience.

SO GOOD!! I mean this place is magical the pancakes are so good and you can tell they aren't box mix I would recommend any other restaurant as much as I would recommend this one 10/10

Had lunch with my sister and mom on 4/19/2021--My sister ordered chile relleno (beef) and I ordered the same..My mom ordered caldo de res. My chile relleno was not beef-it was cheese-which I had not ordered. When I was able to finally catch the attention of our waitress-I told her the discrepancy and her response was as follows "I told the cook that it was a beef chile relleno. What else can I help you with?'' did not attempt to correct the problem as I did not eat the chile. She did come back and showed me the receipt where it said 2 beef chile rellenos. "but this is not what I was served" I complained. When I went to pay the owner asked me if everything was ok-I then explained the issue. This were the owner's words "I am sorry I really can't do anything about it because I have already rung it up in the cash register...but either the beef or cheese chile rellenos cost the same" POOR SERVICEFOOD WAS NOT THAT GREAT AS I ONLY ATE THE CHEESE ENCHILADA RICE AND BEENNO ATTEMPT TO CORRECT THEIR DISCREPANCYWILL NEVER GO BACK TO EAT THERE...STAY AWAY.

My husband and I decided to go pick up lunch. The order was all wrong and they over charged us. We were upset and we will not go again. The kitchen looked dirty and not clean.
