Moody's Quality Meats

The meats are great quality but they always are very overpriced... i recommend as a second resort... if champs is closed...

Their beef is delicious and the steaks are tender when I cook them. I noticed some reviews criticizing the staff's attitude, too d--m bad your feelings are hurt, personally they're professional, hard working and helpful humans. I shop there for a fair priced quality product not to make friends or small talk.Thanks. I'm glad I found you, keep up your great work!!!

1st and last time coming here sadly, and that's because of the front desk woman, ( the cashier ) she's an older woman but so mean and disrespectful. Never have I felt discriminated in my life until I stepped in these doors. I would've loved to have been a returning customer since I live right next door. But after leaving a sour taste in my mouth, I'll just drive across town to south side meat market, much more friendly there. If you are reading this woman, be nicer please.

Part of Ryan's Famous Texas beef jerky tour - very basic meat market counter service with very thin sliced jerky by the lb. these are your basic paper thin super wide sliced jerky but a great smoke flavor and easy eatin! careful you will eat the whole lb in a matter of minutes if you aren't careful.

The Moench family are fine folks ( damn Aggies ‍). They have some incredible meat and other products. You can call in and order two pork chops or twenty chicken breasts and it will be ready as promised. They usually have the hard to find items like veal or lamb. Special ordering isn't an issue, either. One can't go wrong visiting their Holly location.

We love shopping at Moodys. It is important to support small local businesses, especially when they are supporting local Texas ranchers. It is getting harder for small businesses and ranchers to survive. I love going to Moodys because of the excellent service I get, especially knowing I am supporting my local community. Any questions I ask their staff are answered so kindly. The meat is high quality and tastes so much better than other places. Probably because it's not covered in chemicals or is pink slime that big grocery stores sell. Moodys is clean, the temp is cold (as it should be, it is a meat market!), and the customer service is top notch. Even the folks at the register are extremely nice. There's a reason they've been in business for so long. Some of our favorite products are the rib eye, filet mignon, ground beef, stuffed pork chops, the eggs, beef tallow, and the apple butter. Oh, well everything else they sell too!! Just didn't want to list off the whole store :)

Excellent meat, exceptional quality, great people. We carry a whole ice chest full back to Arkansas when we come back from Port Aransas. Love having it in the freezer.

Great selection & very fairly priced as well! Highly recommend! Tons of great priced specials too.
