The food was delicious! For starters, I came at the last hour of service and ordered breakfast during their lunch time. I wasn't aware they had a cut off but the nice server said she would ask if they would still make it for me and THEY DID! I wouldn't encourage this behavior but it was a nice gesture from the kitchen for a first timer like me. I sat by the large window that looked over the palm trees and front yard. It was very reminiscent of the island in Mexico and that really warmed my heart. The juice I ordered tasted freshly pressed pressed and not powdered mix which is rare in this city. Also, I noticed the have a fit menu and they offer green juice as well. Cannot wait to come back! Consistency would easily make this my favorite place in EP

Small hole in the wall! Great food at great prices! I genuinely didn't know this place existed and I usually eat out about 8 times a week in this small community. As you walk in the place is small but cozy and very welcoming. The menu is very small and has a "special" everyday. They have everyday favorites always but do run out towards the end of their day.As expected first thing that comes out are a small portion of chips and salsa on the house. Two tasty salsas but nothing crazy on the spice. We ordered lemonades and they tasted exactly how I like them, less on the sweet side and more on the lemon side. I ordered the caldo de res and my girlfriend got the caldo tlalpeño as it was a Monday and that was the special. The caldo de res tasted great, I adjusted the taste with lemon and salt to my preference. The caldo tlalpeño was good as well, very tasty with the chipotle pepper in the center. We also ordered two different tacos. A breakfast taco and a lunch taco. The breakfast was Chile con queso, it was basically melted cheese with the red salsa. The lunch one was a taco de bistec, great portion and cooked and seasoned perfectly! Over all I would recommend this place, id love to try other plates!

Tacos are $1 and change and are super skinny as if they charge per piece of potato they place in them. The tortillas were good.

We were here for 30 minutes had to flag down a waitress. Multiple tables came in after us and got served. Left after 30 minutes without even being served drinks.
