Mojo Guide Service & Outfitters - Port Aransas

Captain JC took us out on a guided trip last week in Aransas Pass and it was fantastic.I have been fishing in the coast for over 30 years and this trip was right up there w the best I have ever had. My 8 year old son has just started going on these trips with me and he joined us. JC decided we would take his Airboat, which he usually uses in his Hunting trips. My son thought that was the coolest thing ever!We started the morning before sunrise and hit a couple of spots with a few bites and JC thought it was a good idea to head back into very shallow water and start sight casting to schools. This is my favorite type of fishing and we caught a few fish over the next hour or two.We then went back to a spot that JC had been tracking in terms of Redfish movement over the summer. It was the right choice. Over the next hour and a half, we caught over 35 redfish in the slot or larger. We caught our limit and then literally caught and released fish back to back for the next 60 minutes. It was truly one of the best fish bites I have ever been apart of. Truly amazing!My son was so tired after 4 or 5 fish, that he became the "netter" of the boat for fish after fish. A friend and I called on short notice looking for an airboat to take a couple of 11 years on this past weekend. Just trying to make unforgettable memories for the little guys. The captain worked his magic getting us fit in on a busy weekend. The captain was super patient with the kids and it has been several days now since our trip and my son is wanting me to buy a boat so he can be a captain one day. By the way, we all caught Red Fish!!!! Great job putting us on the fish and making dreams for our kids. I would recommend calling ahead to reserve a spot and putting this on the bucket list for sure. First off you should know that he uses an airboat, so he can take you places that other guides just can't get to. JC put us on the redfish right away and when it slowed down he moved us to the next great spot. He was professional and courteous and patient with us all day. Not only did we catch our limit of fish, we had a great time. Two of our redfish were big enough to need tags. I highly recommend that you book with Mojo. You will not be disappointed.

JC is an amazing guide. We caught so many fish. He definitely does not disappoint. He has such a great attitude and made the whole experience extremely memorable. I will definitely be doing this again.
