Went in and was taken into a bay immediately. When I asked for Castrol, I was told they don't carry Castrol anymore. The tech told me that all the Minit Man shops were bought out by GreaseMonkey and as such they don't have much in terms of choice. He actually suggested T5. Told him I wasn't about to use their brand of oil and drove out. He was nice about it, but more and more change shops are cutting back on choices for the customers.

If you go to Minute Man, pay attention to what they are doing and question everything.Yesterday, I went in to the Kostoryz location and asked the manager for the most basic oil change, telling him that I was on a budget.He upcharged me synthetic and a $16 filter and then marked the change date tag on the windshield to come back in 2,002 miles.FOR SYNTHETIC!When I questioned the use of synthetic, he took the receipt, went to "check" what kind of oil we used before, came back and told me he couldn't pull up our info at the time, the system was not working.When I questioned the charge for a "royal purple filter," he told me that's the way it is with synthetic. The oil filter has to be changed every time and is not included in the cost of the oil change.This is deliberately over-charging customers and lying to manipulate them. I tried to contact Minute Man through their website but the send button doesn't work this morning.I had previously contacted the company about a different location where the manager tacked on a $20 "high mileage" charge without my consent. That manager's excuse was "we do it for all the customers."Never heard back from them. Fool me twice, we're done.

I went here for a simple oil change. They were very polite and showed me my oil levels and the status that oil was at before and after. And everything went well as far as the oil change was concerned. In corpus I'm used to waiting an hour for oil changes and so I was suprised that when it took 20 minutes to find the correct oil filter (which I understood and wasnt even upset about), they gave me a discount because they kept me so long. I was pleasantly suprised by this minute man. Would reccomend.

My go-to for oil changes! Quick, courteous, and thorough. They give you a checklist of things your vehicle may need so you can decide to have it done then or at another time. Simply the BEST!

Always fast friendly service and Almost never a wait. The gentlemen are always very professional, polite and informative. I've gone here for my last 5 oil changes and will definitely continue coming here in the future.

Absolutely Terrible Company. SCAMMERS. Only go if you want to be lied to and get an off brand oil change for $100. No ethics. Go to a legitimate shop instead. Terrible chain. No better than Jiffy Lube. Beware of the mechanic with the long hair. Don't quote me something than change the price AFTER you changed my oil. F'n liar.

I am writing to express my concern regarding an experience I had during my recent visit to your store located at 1029 Airline ,Corpus Christi,TX 78411.During my visit on Dec 09, 2024, I was asked by a member of your staff about my personal beliefs in a manner that felt inappropriate and intrusive. As a customer, I believe it is important to feel respected and free from such inquiries that do not pertain to the service experience.I am unsure that your staff may have intended no harm, but such questions can make customers feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. I left there uninsured of my safety because of this employee's feelings towards my beliefs. I kindly urge you to address this issue with your team to ensure that all customers receive a respectful and professional service in the future. I myself will no longer use this company or any affiliates that may question my beliefs. Imagine and trusting a company to change the oil in your vehicle and then leaving feeling unsafe because you were unsure that it was done properly because he opposed or disagreed with my views or beliefs.I was also accused of "being affiliated or associated with organization that cuts off babies heads". That same employee answer the phone when I called with my concerns and claimed his name was Randy Savage. How more professional can a Company be. My service technician at Minute Man oil was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. I drove away knowing I was in good hands and my car had the best care. My technician provided me with all the coupons and discounts while delivering excellent service. Thank you!
