The breakfast tacos at Mimas Tacos to go are delicious. You can pretty much create your own with a wide variety of meats (the chorizo sausage is delicious), eggs, cheese, veggies, etc. plus a small salsa bar to add any zing you might want. If breakfast is this good I'm sure lunch and dinner versions are great too! Great food, fast and friendly service.

Moved here a few months ago and is one of the few places close to us for breakfast tacos! It did not disappoint, quick service and salsas were all amazing. I had the sausage egg and cheese and the chorizo egg and cheese!

After living here at the lake for all these years, I cannot believe I have never reviewed Mima's. Maybe it was selfish, in that if all tourists and weekend PITAs learned about this gem, that I would never be able to get in for my breakfast tacos.Anyway this is the best taco joint on the lake, nobody else comes close. In my book there are two sizes of breakfast tacos, there are small and regular(normal). Mima's are regular sized, one or two at the most will fill you up, and they have every combination you would want. We haven't been able to do lunch there because of their labor shortage, but we were finally able to get in the other day and had a wonderful lunch. We ate outside, loved the little setup, and since they have expanded there is also seating within the restaurant.Great food, at a great price, and local hospitality. Enough said.

I've been eating at Mima's for many years, starting back in Wimberley, TX. My last experience at the Canyon Lake location was not good. I ordered a Picadillo and Carne Guisada breakfast tacos. There was so much salt on both that I took one bite of each and didn't want to eat anymore of this food because it was so salty.

The food quality seems to have declined recently. I've stopped adding eggs to my morning tacos due to consistently finding shells in them. Now, when I order a taco, I stick to the base potato without egg to avoid any issues.

We love mima's. The food is consistent and the owners are the sweetest. The only drawback is the hours, the owners strive to have good food and customer service and have high standards for employees so unfortunately due to staffing shortages, they seem to be closed more than they're open lately but I applaud the owners for doing their best.

Hand Down, BEST Queso in Texas!!! They have their own salsa bar, homemade. So delicious. But I gotta say, the queso lis LIFE!

Food great, but they rushed us and were a little mean, but after all is a good place I think they were just having a bad day.
