Smashburger with cheddar/all the way plus side of onion rings as a combo. Delectable. Burger is MUCH bigger than this looks. 16JAN25
I got the Philly cheesesteak and poutine fries. This was an immaculate experience.
Great roll, nice toppings but the sandwich is ruined with an overpowering rosemary flavor
The small (half mile) philly arrived nuclear hot, I chopped it in half to share. We got their house sauce on the side and loved it. 29DEC24

Took the Midwestern boomer parents for a family celebration and please don't hold it against the place, but they *loved it*. They only added green peppers (eyeroll as the veggie loving black sheep) to the small cheesesteak they split and the onion rings were too dark for his liking plus she only eats the batter off of rings, vegetables are anathema--but please believe from this narrating omnivore that everything was TASTY.We arrived about 3:05pm and the lot was so empty as we pulled in that I worried it was shut. The guy on watch was absolutely lovely, seeing three old people walk in and then happily tapping in the order himself rather than wait to see if one of us could figure out the ordering screen. And they have coke products, hell yes.Dad didn't come back for more onion rings from my plate and refused to try the house sauce--I understand this sounds dubious but please believe I grew up speaking modern aged Iowan CPA and he was SO happy with his sandwich (his fave pizza is a form of cheesesteak). Ma liked the sauce despite her fear of sabor, ate 2/3 the shot on her half a small cheesesteak. I took my smash burger with cheddar all the way with the house sauce and regret *nothing*.We had the place to ourselves until a delivery driver came in to pick up an order or two. The setting's aimed modern but the music wasn'tloud. Place was mostly clean. Neither of my parents complained about the toilets so I assume they were good. There's to-go boxes near the register, drop your trash in the bin and leave your basket at the counter. As I mentioned before, they ship in proper amoroso rolls (holy grail for phillies). This place is worth a try. I ate my remaining 1/4 smash burger cold tonight and it was still *glitter effect* glorious.See you there.

Mostly a takeout spot, this small restaurant is serving up some killer (comfort) sandwiches and fried sides. Guys were super-cool with us, and everything is truly cooked to order so be prepared to wait a minute for this hot, fresh food.We ordered their Mile Philly cheesesteak sandwiches along with seasoned fries and onion rings. All were spot on (from a flavor perspective) and cooked to the proper temps and crispness. Their smashburgers also looked killer, would love to try one of those next time through the area.

Be prepared to fall into a food coma. This description of the Cheese Coma can't be beat and yes, this burger is real: "This smash burger pays homage to the classic Oklahoma style, featuring a juicy beef patty smashed on the griddle with thinly sliced onions seared to caramelized perfection. Crisp lettuce and tangy pickles add a refreshing crunch, while the star of the show is a golden, deep-fried cheese block that oozes melted goodness with every bite."I was happy to split the burger and cheese delight, as it was quite gluttonous while delicious. The staff were super personable and attentive, even at 10 pm on a Wednesday. They were excited to talk about the food and share their favorites. Very bright lights inside, a bit intense but plenty of seating and parking. It was a fun local spot to try before heading back to Austin!

Lovingly converted building is clean and very well lit. I loved my smashburger, with its stunningly fresh bread and crisp patties. The poutine was acceptable though the cheese curds weren't fresh. The chicken philly came with superb garlic aioli and more of that stunningly fresh bread. Next time I'll try it with beef and real cheese instead of the mushy chicken and whiz.

In our effort to try and support new restaurants, we finally saw Mike High MO's was ready so we thought we would try it. We couldn't figure out how to order online so we just went and thought we would order there. When we got there, he was at the pick up window ready to take our order. The owner is very nice and friendly. He told us everything we needed to know and described his food. He described his signature sauce and told us it had rosemary in it. We went with the mini Philly Cheesesteak and an Oklahoma burger. It came out hot and fresh. The burger is a large smash burger and he didn't skimp on the toppings for the Philly. Unfortunately for us, the rosemary was too strong for our taste. The onion rings were good. They were large, crunchy, and not greasy. So to sum it up, the owner is great! The food sizes are generous. And if you like the taste of rosemary, you will love the sandwiches!

New to the San Marco scene, the owner prides himself on customer service, personality and good food. I had a Philly and asked for sauce on the side as Rosemary can be over powering. Still felt as though I tasted it in the meat seasoning but it was good just different than a Philly Philly. I had a combo so was able to enjoy the poutine. Flavorful gravy and cheese curds for the win! Fun place, good food. Relax and enjoy.

Gave Mile High Mo's a second chance after the owner advised me that the rosemary I tasted was in the sauce. I ordered my cheesesteak with no sauce (but with mushrooms, onions and of course, cheese) and it was PERFECTION. The key to an authentic Philly cheesesteak is the bread. They bring in Amoroso rolls from Philly. If you love the taste of rosemary? Order it with the sauce (they also have a garlic sauce too). But if you want an authentic Philly cheesesteak, order it without the sauce and you'll feel like you're back in Philly again. Few places go through the trouble (and expense) of bringing in Amoroso rolls for their cheesesteaks. Details like this are an indication of the quality that Mo's is looking to bring to San Marcos. Give Mo's a try !

First time trying this place. The owner greeted us and asked if it was our first trying the restaurant. After we told him yes, he graciously explained the highlights of his menu and what he recommended. We took his recommendations based on what we loosely knew we wanted. We got the cheese coma burger, chili cheese fries, steak Philly, and 2 drinks for about $46 (after tip). We waited no more than 5 minutes for our food to be ready. Everything was fresh and so flavorful. The portions were HUGE!! Definitely worth what we paid for. We will definitely be back.
