Miguelito's Mexican Restaurant

Cute little restaurant that used to be a two story house. Nicely set up and had outdoor seating and a bar. It was nice and fresh inside and I had to wear my jacket. . . but I'm always cold. I wanted a taco, enchilada, rice and beans but they didn't have that combo or a create your own combo. I chose cheese enchiladas and carne guisado with rice and beans combo. Everything was so good. . . Well I didn't eat the beans so not sure about them. The enchiladas tasted like the used velveta cheese but I can't say for sure, either way it was super yummy. The carne guisado was excellent. The meat was tender and had the perfect amount of spice. They did have some challenges with our check as the had a new system and couldn't figure out how to delete an item and we had to wait a long time. . . of course it felt like forever after working all day. . . it was finally resolved and we were on our way with leftovers of course. If I would have come here when we first arrived I would have eaten here every day.

We were in town for some family matters, and stopped her to grab some dinner. The place looks ok, we ordered our drink and then our food,food came out and it was good food. The only thing I probably did not like was the check and the service, they check I am not complaining about how much it was I don't like when they put the gratuity in when there are 7 of us they just cheat themself out of a good tip. Also service was ok but it kind of felt a little rushed from the waitress kind of a what do you want to drink then a do you know what you want to order. I would probably come back.

Well I got to admit if you ever come to Carrizo Springs Texas make sure to stop off at Miguelitos. If you happen to get there make sure you talk to Faith she made my evening very very enjoyable. I was not expecting the house to be as adorable as it is I wasn't expecting to find a bar that served excellent drinks and I wasn't expecting to find a dessert that captivated my tongue. So please if you happen to be in Carrizo Springs stop by and say hello the gang is outrageous and they be happy to see you .

Service was friendly and food was pretty good. There's indoor and outdoor seating, and a bar area in the back where you can watch the game.

Absolutely loved Miguelitos. It's authentic Mexican food. Not your nachos flour tortilla Mexican food but REAL Mexican food. This beautiful restaurant makes dinning in Carrizo Springs much easier. There is a full bar in and outside dinning. Loved the environment . Well, this is my first night here so follow the journey

I haven't been here since 2015 when I was working here. Went back and got the same thing I ordered back then. The enchiladas where still as good as I remembered. I will come back before I leave for home for sure.

Had the fried catfish tacos. I've told probably 30 people about them. I absolutely love their food. Also from what I've seen, this is the nicest restaurant in this area.

One on bottom right is burned . It was good but had to tear off the burnt sections . It's a little hard to mess up bean tostadas. The chips and salsa were good . I came in alone and it took the 3rd person to seat me (in the bar at that). The first one ignored me and the 2nd one asked me what I wanted I said a seat and then she walked off. It wasn't like they were super busy. The kitchen area was super noisy hollering and banging pots and pans. Not the greatest of experience. Probably will not come back when in town for business again

They took forever with our meal and the food was over cooked and no flavor and then they charged us 8.99 for shrimp which the ticket read fajita not shrimp. We were not informed of the extra charge. The waitress was fantastic but her manager said that was the charge with no explanation. We won't be returning

Stopped in today with a co-worker, and had a very tasty lunch, I had the wet burrito and Carlos had the chicken enchiladas which looked good.The service was also excellent, I live in Laredo and don't get up this way very often, but I will be back when I can.
