I was visiting Angleton, Texas for the first time. I went to Mi Tierra which was a Mexican and Salvadorian restaurant. I got to try pupeseria for the first time. It was pretty unique. I was a thick corn tortilla that had stuffing inside such as cheese and pollo or chorizo. That was topped off with a spicy lettuce salad. I also got their quesadilla el pastor. It was pretty yummy. The pastor was rich in flavor and covered with cheese. The cheese pull on this was amazing. In addition, I also got their horchata. This was a little different as it was more milk with less cinnamon which is what I prefer a lot of the times I feel like it is over powered with cinnamon. Their service was spectacular. I went with a big group of 7 and although there was another big party that was there before us. They help us arrange the tables and served us quickly.

I have been past this little place what seems like a million times. My son wanted some tacos so here we go. They have a fairly big menu and something for everyone. We ordered 2 guisada tacos with queso, 1 beef fajita with cheese, onion, and cilantro. 1 chicken fajita with cheese, onion, and cilantro. They were really awesome and bigger Everything was downright delicious. The tortillas are homemade and super soft. I could of literally eaten a dozen by themselves. They have 2 sauces, green and red. They are both really good, the red has no heat at all but plenty of taste. The green has just enough heat to be be enjoyed by anyone. It is a gotta stop in or thru and give them a try kinda place. You won't regret it and you will be supporting a local family owned business.

Guys! Look! This place is truly a gem hidden in Angleton. With Mexican and Salvadoran food, you will surely find something that is a treat. I ordered two fajita beef tacos on corn tortillas (fresh!!!) with cilantro and onions. Ammmmaaaazing. They are so generous with their portions. They have amazing breakfast tacos that are equally good, with super generous portions. Food doesn't take long at all, and you can hear it sizzling on the grill as soon as you start ordering. I also ordered a corn in a cup with chamoy on top, which was great. I've found my snack spot! The owners and ladies working behind the counter were so kind. They answered all my questions and let me take pictures of the menu and whatnot, giving me further recommendations and information. The hospitality here is out of this world. Let them know you haven't been here before and they'll recommend things if you don't know what to order. I'm really pleased with everything. Even though it's small and only has four tables, it's very clean and tidy! They also have a drive through, which I will definitely be using when I'm in a hurry. Make sure to stop by and give this local treat a try if you're coming through!

There's not a lot of good places to eat in Angleton or to choose from but I am glad we found this place to eat for lunch. I go to Taquerias and Pupuserias all over Houston so im am pretty well versed on them. I was never like lengua before because it was always so tough and chewy at the places I ate at, but it was AMAZING here. Super tender and was fall apart almost like a pot roast. It totally changed my thoughts for lengua and I wouldnt hesitate for a second to order it again from here.Be warned, their tacos here are not regular sized tacos. They are the size of a small burrito and the price reflects it. I got the combination pupusa, which had loroco (a type of vegetable or flower native to El Salvador), chicken, beans, cheese, and chicharones, and I think it was the best pupusa I have ever had in my life. The dough was not the super thick chewy dough that I have had in every other pupusa in my life. It was almost like a crispy dough akin to a fried thin polenta cake. Not sure how else to describe it but it was really good. I bought 2 more to take home to go, and after air frying it again at home, it was just as good. If you are ever in the area and are looking for a great pupusa or change up from the fast food, etc. , then I would recommend coming here to try their food.

We have had breakfast and lunch a few times-Food has been good! Only once was service iffy-felt rushed the whole time. Ambiance is typical Mexican style-music is a bit loud for conversations. All in all enjoy this restaurant for a quick meal
