First time coming here and I the first thing I noticed is how spacious this place is. Our waitress was great, the man at the register was also great. I got an omelette and a pancake, the food came out quickly. And of course I had to get a coffee. Everything was delicious.

The Barbacoa taco was super delicious and well served for one taco! Their Sweet Breakfast plate was amazing. The pancakes were so huge!! I couldn't finish them lol. It was very welcoming once entering in. And it was nice and peaceful in there with nice music playing in the background. I will definitely come again to try more of their menu!

I'm a big chilaquiles fan, so I was excited to try them at a new restaurant. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. The positive: The service was really good. The waitress was friendly, welcoming , and attentive. She came by several times to refill my coffee. The tortillas were delicious, and the tortilla chips were excellent. The salsa was just ok. The negative: The refried beans had ZERO flavor. It was strange. I've never had refried beans that had no flavor at all. None whatsoever. The coffee was too weak for my liking. The potatoes weren't much better. Again, no seasoning or flavor. The chilaquiles...same thing. No flavor, very little chicken, and no crema (cream). I got the verdes (green salsa) and it was pretty dang picante. Too spicy for my liking, especially for breakfast. I know this would be a positive for some people, but it was too much for me. And I like some heat. My nose and eyes were running like a faucet, and I needed to run into my hotel 15 minutes later (if you know what I mean). Some people like it really hot, so Im not giving the chilaquiles a bad mark for the spice. It's the lack of flavor that really disappointed me. I've had some outstanding chilaquiles here in the Rio Grande Valley, but this unfortunately was not one of them.

If you want good Mexican breakfast this restaurant is a must try. The portions are good , price is reasonable and the salsa's OMG they are good and spicy. The first cup of coffee to me tasted a bit burnt, however the 2nd cup was better. The corn tortillas are good and seem to be done in house. Will definitely be going back for breakfast.

We were here early for breakfast and it was amazing! They open at 8:00 so it wasn't busy and we got our meal so fast! Get the chilaquiles con pollo! So good!

Visiting from Corpus Christi ,Loved the salsa's I was served ! Waitress was so nice and friendly . I had a Potato Egg and Bacon taco and a Barbacoa Taco ! Fresh hot and delicious! Great tortillas , I'll be back!

I used to frequent almost weekly at Mi Sombrero. It is right by work so it's a great place to stop by during your lunch break. Your food is served on a timely matter and it's always hot. I usually order the enchiladas and they're delicious! Totally recommend. :)

The service here is always nice. Although they do not speak too much English we manage to get along fine. I always get the Midas Locos. So good and way too much food. I love the fresh flour tortillas and the refried beans. The potatoes are yummy too but I avoid them as they don't like me. The chips and salsa have always been wonderful.
