Today we thought we'd try out this restaurant in Taft that has 5 Stars?! The chips and salsa were great. The meals we ordered were wonderful. Our waitress was kind and thorough. Good experience. We will be back. It definitely deserves 5 Stars. Try it!

The food was a trip back in time! Reminded me of mom's cooking!! It has also inspired me to cook more authentic, once I get moved in!! Vacay, headed home now, finish moving in, and I will cook more authentic from now on!! Service was impeccable! The place literally reminded me of home, and when mom and dad had the restaurant in Clinton, Oklahoma, back in the 60's!!Suzanna

This place is step into Mexico. I lived in El Paso and worked and ministered in Juarez, Mexico for 17 years. This place is legit! The special for the day was chicken flautas! Amazing! The best flautas I have ever eaten. The building is old and drab decor, but you don't go for the decor. The service was great and friendly.I would detour to go to eat here! It's a must if around south Texas area.How bout this, chips, queso and Salsa then a plate of chicken flautas with rice (excellent) the only better Spanish rice is my wife's (she is Mexican) the guacamole was very tasty and salad. Diet Coke to drink the total bill $7.04.Unbelievable! Great food, great service, fantastic price.

The food is great and so is the service we go every weekend to go eat love the food and there Habanero salsa is the best especially on barbacoa the 1hr drive is worth it

I love coming to eat at this restaurant the waitress Julie is a great server and the owner Ana is very attentive to her customers I feel like I'm at home when I go eat at this restaurant all of their food is good if you're in taft. Please stop by and visit Anna and Julie.

Often discovered by the roadside, and more often passed by with only a passing glance, are some of the best camouflaged facades. My girlfriend would like me to begin a food and service blot titled "...there? ....really?!? ", being that is my usually reply to her suggested food or miscellaneous road trip stops. As was the case slowly driving through Taft. The dirt parking lot, nearly full with work trucks is always a good sign during the lunch hour. I managed to turn a "blind eye " from the flattened cat laying lifeless near the employee entrance and bravely entered, noticing the old fashioned fly strips (nearly at capacity) dangling in all windowpanes, repeating to myself ".....here? ....really?!? ".The service was prompt and allowed me to practice my Spanish language skills, which shortly more closely resembled sign language. Chips and house made salsa started our lunch and we had the finish the last of the salsa refill (last of four refilled) before we could leave. The food was authentic and you are able to taste the dedication to really good food (and the lard) in every bite. The facility was very clean the service was friendly, even to the obvious out of town er (us). And, to add to my peace of mind and digestion, the "flat cat" remains, remained.

Favorite Mexican restaurant in town!! They close around 2, daily since you gotta catch them for breakfast or lunch! I haven't found anything there that I don't like!

The food we got tasted like dish soap total waste of money and time and the guy who tome our order screwed the whole order up

Great food! I go every week and have yet to be disappointed. They are fast, friendly and get my orders correct. We can sit inside or go through the drive thru. I usually call ahead when I go through the drive thru. The food taste fresh!

We love this place!!! We are in town for work and have eaten here several times!! Staff is friendly and food is excellent! My only problem is every time I leave here I am so miserably full but I guess I could have worse problems lol. Will miss this place when work takes us elsewhere.
