Mi Nueva Casa

Amazing breakfast tacos, that were not small in size! I went to the drive through, & the line was long but the service was great & it did not take long for me to get my tacos!

Mi Nueva Casa is a cozy Southside taqueria located off of Staples right past Yorktown and adjacent to the Stony Brook suburb. It opened at the same time I moved in the area.When I first tried the place right after they opened, I was not entirely impressed. I suppose they were getting their operations together as new restaurants often do.Fast forward a few years later, and they have become a neighborhood staple for good Tex-Mex (taqueria) food at fairly decent prices. It's not fancy, but that's not what one would expect from a neighborhood taqueria.They also have really good service and a drive-thru if you're in a hurry. I probably wouldn't expect most people to go out of their way for this place, but if you're passing by or in the area for whatever reason, it's worth giving it a shot, IMO.

Food was great. The only draw bake was the tortillas were not homemade. Lots of food on my fajita plate. Great service and price.

Standard fare. Pre-made everything. Service was okay. Requested a new cup due to old lipstick on the one I was given.Inside wasn't bad; just a standard cafe.

Absolutely excellent food. Been multiple times and the service is always outstanding and the food is always delicious. There has never been a wait and the food comes out quickly right as it's ready. Drinks are good as well, I usually get the frozen margarita!It's very casual and comfortable. Reasonably priced and fantastic. I recommend this place wholeheartedly!

The food is great they are really fast and it is always nice to get a taco from them on my way to work!! I really love the diverse breakfast menu and so many options that my whole family can pick from. You should go.

Always hot and good tasting food. Very gracious for your business. I get the Tex mex enchiladas every time and I recommend!

Food was good. We ordered for pick up and it was one of the few places open nearby. Service was great during pickup.

Today's tacos,Thursday 11/21/2024, were "Pinche" scarce. Very little carne asada in each Taco. If it happens again, I'll stop going there.

I cannot believe I paid $18 for this.... the fajita plate had little to no beef and why ask me if I want corn or flour tortillas if you're just going to forget it.
